This owner operated property is the vacation spot for you!!! Endless water views will delight in every direction. Incredible sunsets can be seen from both very large decks. This bright and comfortably decorated Bayfront Cottage was renovated Feb. 2025. Owners keep this property updated and make improvements every year.

The two bedroom/two full bathroom cottage comes fully equipped for you to have a relaxing vacation or a great off season weekend getaway.The cottage will have all the conveniences you will need including bed linens, bath towels, washer and dryer, full kitchen,TV'S in the living room and both bedrooms along with free WIFI. One bedroom (loft/full bath, shower tub) has two queen size beds and the second bed room ground floor also has a queen size bed. Both bed rooms have great water views and are water front. You will also have a propane grill for cooking out doors two bicycles, as well as two kayaks and corn hole.

Bring your boat along, you can dock it at the dock located on the property. Easy access to the Assawomen Bay and just minutes from all the Ocean City 'Hotspots'

This property books very quickly due to the laid back area we are located in but just minutes to the beaches of Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland.

The Cottage is great for your family vacation or a couples getaway. We are off of route 54 just 2 miles from the beach.

Pets Fee is just $265 for your weekly vacation. So bring the four legged friends along with you. The fee covers 1 or 2 pets, no more then two pets allowed. If staying less then a week I will adjust the pet fee.


This property is owned and operated by Paul and Jessica Lebling. We are local and will take care of all your needs. Deal with an owner directly not a Broker or Management Company that may not return your calls.

This is my third stay at this beautiful cottage on the bay and I continue to be blown away by the beauty of the property. It is always spotlessly clean and I feel the owners go above and beyond by providing sheets, towels and bathroom and kitchen soaps for the stay. This is my absolute favorite place to stay when I’m craving a beach vacation!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway with our 2 dogs. It was equipped with everything plus more! I love that the balconies were completely enclosed and you also supplied a baby gate. Quiet and Scenic Retreat Near The Shore

The place was clean and neat. It looked as good or better than posted pictures. The upper deck was our favorite place to chill. It is very near restaurants and other conveniences of Rt. 54 going into Fenwick Island while offering a very peaceful setting in a quiet neighborhood at the tip of small pennisula

Just Perfect!

We had a great time at the Fenwick cottage! It had everything we could possibly need. It was so relaxing sitting outside on the decks watching the water, sunsets, birds, etc. We didn't want to leave!

Peaceful retreat

Off season, a peaceful cottage to relax, unwind, and get away. Beautiful bay sunsets right from your back porches. Paul was a pleasure to work with. Close drive to Ocean City, too. An all around enjoyable stay!

Bayberry cottage was great! Gorgeous views! Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms. And Paul was great for pre planning logistics. There was quite a bit of street maintenance for a water line upgrade during our stay so a little inconvenience getting to/from the property a few times. But no fault of anyone…just the way it goes. Would definitely revisit this VRBO and we very much enjoyed Fenwick Island and all of the local fare. Thanks for a nice relaxing few days.

We had a great Spring Break in Fenwick Cottage.

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the bay, kayaking, and the quick drive to the beach for glorious sunrises. Easy drives to Assateague and Chincoteague were also a big plus! Everything was clean and met all of our needs in the cottage. We hope to return some day.

Bayberry Cottage is the best

Really nice rental, well stocked, in a great location in Fenwick / Selbyville. Close to OCMD (Northern end) and many restaurants without having to go into OCMD. VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS....Morning sun rises from the kitchen; beautiful sunsets from either the 1st or 2nd floor decks!! Hoping to get back soon!

The property and location were absolutely fantastic!! By far our favorite property we have ever rented in the Ocean City/Fenwick area. The cottage was stocked with every supply we needed; the beds were very comfortable; the location was extremely quiet and there were lots of ways to enjoy the waterfront location. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. We enjoyed grilling out and watching the beautiful sunset each night. My daughter loved kayaking, fishing, crabbing and playing the games at the property. Paul was very responsive and excellent to work with. A all around.

Lovely Little Cottage

Our stay at the Fenwick Island Cottage is one we will not forget! The cottage was very cute, clean and in a nice and quiet location. It was just what I was hoping it to be and my family enjoyed the peacefulness as much as I did. I have told many friends and coworkers about this location. House with beautiful views of the bay. Super comfortable and relaxing. Great covered deck to enjoy coffee in the morning. Sometimes too relaxing. We got a late start to the day. 4 adults stayed and we had 15 others in the area. We had plenty of parking when we all got together. Enjoyed a nice cookout.

Great getaway

Just spent an extended weekend here with my wife and our pups. Couldn't of had a better time. Paul was more than happy to accommodate our stay, and even stopped in to check on us. The house is quaint and compact, but didn't feel like it with the high ceilings and loft. The view of the bay is unmatched. We'll absolutely be back! :)

My Wife Jessica and our five kids and we live next door to the Cottage. We have owned vacation properties in the area for more then 25 years. All of our properties including the Fenwick Cottage are water front or have great water views. Growing up in the Washington DC and Baltimore area we visited Ocean City and Fenwick Island our whole life. When the opportunity come up for us to move to our vacation home in Fenwick we jumped at the chance . We love the area and meeting our vacation guests during the season and off season. Being very involved in the community we can help our guests with any issues or questions that they may have.

Why they chose this property

Fenwick and the surrounding area has so much to offer. Great wild life, night time activities for kids and adults, shopping, restaurants, water activities, golf, tennis, entertainment and much more. Or maybe you just would like to sip your coffee or cocktail from one of the decks and enjoy the boats and wild life passing by. The location of the Cottage offers it all or offers just relaxing down time. It is up to you because it is your vacation.

What makes this property unique

Water Front, kayaks, bikes, out door grill and all the linens are all included in your rental. The Cottage was built in 1958. Jessica and I bought it in 2006 and gutted the home and remodeled it at that time. Each year we due updates to the decor with new furniture, paint and we take suggests from our guests on what they would like to see on their next vacation. We renovated both bathrooms, new flooring on the first floor and updated the paint color in the whole house in Feb/Marc h 2025
