About Erin Barnes Nicoletti

I am a family physician who lives and owns a practice in Claremont, NH. Claremont is a rural area of New Hampshire located just across the Connecticut River from Vermont.

Erin Barnes Nicoletti purchased this townhome in 1994

Why Erin Barnes Nicoletti chose Oro Valley

I have live in New Hampshire for 25 years and raise my family there, I grew up in Tucson and my mother lived there until she passed in 1992. Tucson was always a place I brought my family to visit my mother and enjoy the beauty of the desert. After my mother passed, we decided to build this home so we could continue to enjoy Tucson regularly.

Because of this home allowed us to continue enjoying Tucson as my children grew up, I was able to instill a love for Tucson in my children so much that even daughter Erin moved to Tucson in 2006 and lived there until 2011.

She now lives in Scottsdale, but takes care of my home for me and will be your primary contact during your stay.

What makes this townhome unique

The house is nestled in a cul-de-sac amongst views of the Catalina and Tucson Mountains. It is a very quiet house. The house is the perfect set up for either a quiet evening at home or a party with friends.

Beautiful setting, great neighbors, incredible owners

  • 5 of 5

Erin and her dad were so incredibly supportive. We were in Tucson for an unfortunate family event and they were so very accommodating. Their neighbors were wonderful and the home is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed some of the surrounding area (Mt Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, Tohono Chul, and so on) while visiting and it was like "going home" each evening while staying at this great property. There is shopping nearby (the Oro Valley shopping center north on Oracle from this home is grand) and many restaurants to choose from.

The home is well equipped, very clean, and offers all of the creature comforts of a private home at an affordable cost.

We were truly blessed to find this property and every bit as blessed to work with Erin and her dad.

Nice vacation home with personal desert.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this comfortable and convenient townhome. The area is awesome--all types of restaurants within two miles and great shopping in boutiques and the Tucson Mall. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and relaxing and we had wonderful neighbors. A super walking trail and access to the desert are close. There is a personal piece of the desert in the back landscaping, complete with Drummond quail, hummingbirds and doves providing action. As outdoor people, we enjoyed this all immensely. If there was a problem, the landlady took immediate action. She cares about the home and we do, too. There was enough room for visitors and entertaining was fun.

I'll definitely sign up again.

Could be so much better

  • 3 of 5

I'll begin by saying this could be a great rental. The area is great; a small condo association within the Oro Valley Country Club. It is close to shopping, restaurants, many outdoor activities and only 30 min to downtown Tucson. And has very nice neighbors. Unfortunately the unit needs a lot of updating. If the owner would consider this, I would give the highest rating and recommend it for those checked.

Owner's Response: We are currently in the process of updating the home. This home now has a brand new dishwasher, gas stove, and carpeting and tile in the upstairs master. More updates to come.

Our home is located in Oro Valley in a secluded, quiet neighborhood. The house has beautiful views of both the Catalina and Tucson mountains and is a perfect place to relax. It is a 30 minutes drive from the must see, Sonoran Desert Museum and minutes from hiking in the Catalinas. Also just a 20 minute drive from the house, is The University of Arizona Campus where you can enjoy a basket ball game or walk around campus. Quite close to U of A is downtown where you can visit the Fox Theater for a show, Etherton Gallery for some art and out to some great food at such places as the famous original El Charro - the inventor of the chimichanga. Although if you're hankering for El Charro, but don't want to make a night of it downtown, there's a location just south of the house in the same plaza as the most wonderful grocery store Sprouts. Sprouts has the best produce with unique organic options at extremely reasonable prices.

The house is close enough to everything you'd want to see, but far enough away that you feel like you're in your own private desert world!
