Simply walk 100 yards down the street and you will find yourself on the soft sand listening to the tide ebb and flow. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. Multiple areas to live and comfortable beds. Hot tub was clean and wonderful in the evenings. The location is near so many adventures including really close to a fantastic big white beach! Highly recommended!

Lovely long weekend at the coast

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Beach access was just one block away, the set up of the house is really nice for a larger group (there were 6 of us), and the hot tub was a lovely amenity. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great property, great location, great times!

We had a great time! Located near the beach, with a mostly private hot tub, and great views of the surroundings. Only complaints are there was a musty smell throughout the property, and the heaters did not keep the place warm enough despite us ratcheting them up as high as we could.

Fun beach house!

Hazy Days was a fantastic summer getaway for our family. The house was light and airy with lots of windows on the second floor. Bedrooms were very comfortable and we made all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen. Nice that there was a nice big dining table for the six of us. The twin beds downstairs were really meant more for small kids - my six foot 14 year old’s feet were hanging off the bed!! I loved the location- exploring the jetty and tide pools, walking around Manzanita, kayaking in the Nahalem bay. Check in was seamless, even received a text on the way there that we could check in wary. Perfect timing. Would definitely return.

Just what we were looking for.

We were in town because a friend had an unexpected death in the family. It was a solemn time and not having to worry about anything with our lodging was great. The kids were able to have a nice time while the adults were able to do what needed to be done.

Cozy Rockaway Getaway

We enjoyed a long, cozy weekend at this house. It is in a great location, just a 2 min walk to the beach. The hot tub was wonderful, perfect temp. The only thing negatives is the gas grill didn’t work and the couch looks really dirty so you felt gross sitting on it. Otherwise the house and rooms were all great. We really enjoyed our stay!

Rockaway Beach

Had a wonderful stay at this property, very clean and stocked with games, books, snd extra linens. Location was perfect for access to beach and a very short drive into town. Comfortable furniture. Of note: Hot tub was semi-private, but still enjoyable. Also house had many stairs: main living area is on second level, unavoidable and hard for the elderly. Overall would recommend and I would stay here again.

Great house

House was great! Lots of games and fun stuff to do. Only bummed we couldn’t check in until 4 (I tried contacting the property management team about checking in earlier but no reply in either message on here or text) and then check out by 10am. Wish we could have had more time. Clean and spacious.

Great location close to the beach!

We were two families totaling 4 adults, 6 teenagers and 2 dogs. Although it's not a huge house, there was enough room for us all and we didn't feel cramped. The hot tub was great. The stairs were very steep and narrow, so be careful going up and down. There is a cigarette smoke smell in the upstairs right hand bedroom that made it hard to sleep, otherwise would have given more stars. Well stocked kitchen and wonderful amount of towels.

Hazy Days in August

This was a great property for a family gathering so close to the beach! The house was very, very kid friendly including lots of toys, kid gear (pack ‘n play, high chair seat, step stools in the bathrooms, safety plugs, etc). The kid room had 2 low twin beds but not the bunk beds pictured in the online photos which disappointed the two 4 year olds in our group. The upper set of stairs was quite treacherous and could use an additional handrail for safety. The kitchen was very well-stocked and we all enjoyed the hot tub! This was a great choice for a multi-generational get together.

Great stay until power went off

Great house! Fully stocked with everything except emergency flashlights, a way to cook and an alternative heat source. During our stay, a storm hit and the communities in the area lost power for over 24 hrs. We bundled up and slept in a cold house. The cook stove and heater is electric. Did not find any flashlights or alternate heat source. For a place that gets frquent blackouts, a gas cook stove and wood stove for heat would be a nice addition. The location was great. Overall a great place!

Summer Vacay

The property was just as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. We had a family of 4 sleeping downstairs and 4 adults upstairs. We loved the short walk to the beach and had mostly great weather. There are a couple things that would improve the experience. The refrigerator is quite small-especially for a house that sleeps 8-10 and there was nothing in writing about the electronics and how to use them. We couldn’t even access the cable and when we called we were told it just came on automatically. (No it didn’t)

We liked the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked. The amenities with beach towels, and all the smart tv's were nice. I thought overall the rental was overpriced for what we got, but it was still a decent getaway. The cleanliness of this property was the greatest concern. We aren't a high maintenance germ-a-phobe family. The white furniture upstairs was terribly stained, i think a little OXY clean and a spot cleaner would do wonders. There was significant rodent feces in the downstairs game room. But no other evidence anywhere else in the house of rodents. My pillow had fallen between the bed and the wall onto the floor behind the bed, my wife pulled it out in the morning and it was COVERED in dust bunnies. Finally, when we arrived there was about a nine inch finger mark of presumably human poop within each of the toilet in the upstairs bathroom. Vacasa dropped off cleanser for us, but the bottle they gave didn't have a tube so it was a bit more laborious than we thought we were getting ourselves into. I realized we were 100 yards to the beach, but just know before renting there is absolutely no beach view at this rental property. But did i mention we loved the hot tub?
