Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please return both keys to key box, Failure to do so is $50 per key penalty
Please do not leave fowl or fish cleaning in the trashcans
Please take all trash to the blue containers. If your stay includes a Wednesday please pull cans to the street in the driveway. Pickup is early on Thursday mornings.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a great stay at the cabin on Reelfoot. The dock was nice and the sun-room has great views. Dana was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I recommend this spot.

For starters the screened in porch was trashed inside and was missing the screen in the door. There was junk all around the outside of the property. There was no grill on property. One of the bathrooms didn’t have a door on it and the TV had no remote so-it was either one channel or pay and download a remote app on our phone. Uncomfortable beds. Kinda looked like people moved out but left a bunch of things they didn’t want behind and turned it into an air-bnb. View and location was excellent. Would not book this place again

Well, I am very sorry to read about your dissatisfaction, especially since the only thing you asked about was how to work the shower, and Didn’t know it takes a little while for the toilet to refill after flushing. You asked before arrival if there was a grill and we informed you there was not one. Also, if you read the amenities of the listing before booking, you know what we do and do not provide. Again, we regret your dissatisfaction and that you were not able to express that during the stay.

The photos used for this listing give the impression that this is a very cozy, clean, home. Unfortunately, it’s not very clean, there is junk everywhere, and it’s very rundown. There is no hot tub which is pictured on the main listing photo. There is also almost zero outside seating which is also pictured. The outdoor screened porch was in shambles; busted door and full of clutter and junk. The deck that leads out to the water was in complete disrepair. My 11 year old son fell through one of the boards and cut his leg. There were numerous rotted boards. One of the bathrooms had no bathroom door which offers zero privacy if you intend to bring more than a few guests. To echo the point one other guest made in a seperate review. It’s like someone moved out and just left junk laying around and the host made no effort to clean any of it up. Very overpriced for what you actually get. Would not recommend. Would not stay again.

Lance, it’s unfortunate that you had such a bad experience here. Yes, one other guest mentioned there were some extra items laying around, but since December there have only been those two comments that were negative. The deck was repaired. As for the hot tub, it was specified in the listing that it was for owner use only. It has since been moved but it was never marked as an ammenity. We were hopeful that sending you a partial refund back would help to compensate for your dissatisfaction. We are sorry you still had a negative experience.

We love the views, the sunsets, the peaceful setting, the wildlife and hunting and fishing on beautiful Reelfoot lake!

What makes this property unique

The panoramic views of the lake from the sunroom are unbeatable! The layout of the home and all of the windows provide views from most every room! We have plenty of covered parking for vehicles, boats, side by sides. The proximity to the lake and to town makes it a wonderful location.
