The luxury apartment is located in a quiet area of Venice, in one of the ' calles ' the most beautiful , where you can find many “local” restaurants well-recommended and important historical monuments, such as the Ca ' Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art, the Church of San Sebastian (a masterpiece of Veronese painting ), the picturesque Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita vibrant and thriving. From here you can easily reach, both on foot and by ferry, the areas of greatest interest, remaining in a quiet corner of Venetian life. The apartment, called Ca 'Ai Putti (House of Cherubini ), located on the first floor in the Dorsoduro district, can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, with its three bedrooms, two bathrooms , kitchen and large living / dining room.
All spaces have been decorated in Venetian style, the polished wooden floors make the house warm and cozy, as well as high ceilings with wooden beams and period features Venetian Gothic windows.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to accommodate large groups. The bedrooms, each of a different color, is bright and spacious and expertly coordinated style ' Rococo '. Throughout the house you can admire the splendid chandeliers in Murano glass, which give shine and lavishness.
The two bathrooms, one with shower and washing machine and the other with the pond, there are close to two of the three bedrooms.
I live in Bologna, a city in north central Italy. It is not far from Venice, by train it takes me about 2 hours. I like to travel and see new places and get to know the locals, trying to understand the uses and customs.
Scilla Chiesi purchased this apartment in 2013
I chose this property because Venice is a fantastic city and charming. I like to stroll through its narrow streets with water reflecting the buildings. It 'a wonderful place to relax and have fun, full of culture and things to discover.
My favorite thing about this house is definitely the place where it is located. It is a quiet neighborhood, but very charming. You can find many restaurants and walking at the same time without being overwhelmed by the crowd of people. It lets you see and discover a venice a little different. Despite this, in a short time from here you can reach all major points of interest, either on foot or with the ferry boat (3 minutes). The house is in Venetian style and is treated in detail to accommodate the most people.

This rental was everything we could hope for. Had every amenity. Bathrooms in particular were very high end and spacious for Venice. The enormous soaking tub was wonderful after long days of touring. Scilla was easy to deal with and very prompt in all responses. She even helped arrange medical care/prescriptions when a medical issue arose. Snacks, wine, and beverages upon arrival. This place was top notch.
Location is wonderful - close to lots of restaurants and little shops and easy to get over to St Marks Square, yet it was in a very quiet part of Venice - a very atmospheric neighbourhood, and not very touristy. We loved it. The apartment was very spacious and very comfortable for our family and we had everything we needed. Nice and warm and the beds were cozy - we enjoyed the apartment very much. The supermarket nearby has a lot of wonderful foods to choose from, and combined with the nearby bakery, we were able to eat very well at the apartment. If you wanted to eat out though, do try the local Restaurant Oniga - very authentic and the food was delicious - make sure you book though, it gets very busy.
The property has a feel of opulence. Very central to good restaurants, transport and excellent advice and information provided by Scilla. Could not recommend this property highly enough.
We were a party of 5 adult family members staying at the end of September. This rental couldn’t have been better.
It was furnished with everything you could want and was simply magnificent. It was spotless and truly luxurious. The bedrooms were large and bathrooms very modern .
She greeted us right at our water bus stop and walked a very short distance to her rental. Waiting for us was delicious pastries and wine. Such an added touch and very much appreciated.
The location was the best, very short walking distance to great restaurants, water bus, gondola ride, taxi ride to airport, two small beautiful churches and the list goes on and on. But the best part it is in a quiet and safe part of Venice.
I would highly recommend this rental property!
Thank you Scilla
Scilla was wonderful, helping with whatever we needed. And the apartment was a beautiful example of old world Venetian living. Perfectly located for exploring Venice's most interesting sites. Fantastico!!!
Second time used this property. Well located, beautifully appointed. Welcoming hospitality. Only complaint (same as last year) is not enough toilet paper and soap. Was very inconvenient to have to find a market to go and buy some.
