Heavenly vacation!

Absolutely wonderful! This home was just as described. Check in was smooth and the manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. The home had everything we needed. A well stocked kitchen, a Weber grill for barbecuing, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, ice packs for the coolers everything we needed for our stay. It has a view from the back that you have to see to believe. We enjoyed watching the wildlife all around us. Birds, turtles, otters at play, Muscovy ducks and more! We lazed by the solar heated pool every day and evening. The home is laid out beautifully so that guests or children can have their own bathroom and their own access to the pool area. Briarwood is a beautiful and safe gated community. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to return again.

Renter beware

We had booked 13 nights at this house based on the original listing, but asked to break the contact and leave early due to the multiple of above issues. We agreed to pay gate fee, VRBO booking fees, and cleaning fee in full, but asked for refund of the 10 days that we wouldn’t actually be staying at the house. Owner agreed to refund part of our stay, but would only refund <50% of the nightly rate excluding all fees (despite VRBO specifically showing the amount that went to owner). Owner stated he would not refund his income tax portion or his bank fees, etc. So ridiculous for us to be paying his income tax on rates we wanted refunded!

Wonderful family home base

My family spent three weeks in this home over the winter holidays, and it was a perfect home base for us. Some of the time spent there was vacation, but there were also days that we were working remotely and the children were in school via e-learning. The house had plenty of space that we were each able to have our own dedicated work area without interruption. The house is nicely appointed, and there was very little that we found ourselves needing that wasn't already there. We really appreciated the beach supplies - plenty of chairs, umbrellas, a beach blanket, and even a bin of beach toys. The pool is wonderful - we used it nearly every day. The pond behind the house is lovely, and we really enjoyed the variety of wildlife that we spotted every day. We spent lots of time just sitting in the lanai and enjoying the serenity. The owners and property manager were very responsive to the minor help we needed or questions we had, and in the one instance that something did need repair, it was done within a matter of hours of my initial request. The gated community is nice - it was basically a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go (grocery stores, Costco, Target, downtown Naples, the beaches). There is some audible noise from Livingston Rd. at times, but nothing that was disruptive. We loved our stay in this home and would definitely return!

Paradise Found

If you’re looking for a taste Paradise, look no further. Let’s start with location – this home is in a manicured gated community that is within 15 minutes of beaches, restaurants, shopping, theaters, and Naples’ attractions. The house itself is as lovely as you see in the photos … no photo-shopping here. It is tastefully decorated, well maintained, well stocked (including beach chairs, coolers, etc.) and very comfortable. The layout is designed with the center of the house encompassing the living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook and easy access to the lanai and pool. The master bedroom suite is off to one side with its own entrance to the lanai and pool…the other two bedrooms on the opposite side with their own full bathroom and access to the pool from one of the bedrooms. By the way, the pool is solar heated. The house manager is just a phone call away should you need her (we did for a very minor issue) and the owner is a most gracious host.

Wonderful stay

The house and location were just as listed and had more furnishings/tools etc than we could have imagined. The kitchen had all the supplies we could have asked for and the landlord was very quick to respond to minor items. I guess our best response is to say that we look forward to being here for 3 more months!

Briarwood, A lovely Gated Community

First, I would like to say that the owners were very easy to work with. They were very responsive answering any questions we had, completing the rental agreement and providing information on our arrival. The Briarwood neighborhood is very very nice All the streets are lined with mature palm trees and the people are nice and friendly. There is plenty of room for walking a few miles a day with very little traffic. The development is gated and feels really safe and is centrally located to everything Naples has to offer. I noticed a few reviews that were critical of the traffic noise from Livingston Road. We Spent most of our time in the pool area which is a few hundred yards from the road and we didn't find it to be a distraction at all. As for the property and accommodations, the house came with everything we needed as stated by the owners and the house was comfortable. However, we found the furnishings and decor inside as well as patio furniture to be a little outdated and in need of some refreshing. For a week or two stay it would be ok, but paying the price for a 2 and a half month stay as we did you should expect things to be a bit modern.

vorher: Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und die Abwicklung vorher waren äußerst freundlich, auf Kontaktaufnahmen wurde zügig reagiert. So wünscht man sich sympathische und vertrauensvolle Vermieter. Der Aufenthalt: Das Haus liegt äußerst ruhig in einer gesicherten gated community. Es ist dort alles sehr gepflegt. Zum Strand sind es gut 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, und sämtliche Infrastruktur ist kurz und gut erreichbar. Das Haus macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Alles für einen perfekten Urlaub ist vorhanden, es fehlt einfach nichts. Der Blick vom Pool auf den See: sehr erholsam. Strandstühle, Sonnenschirme, voll ausgestattete Küche, bequeme Betten, Waschmaschine und Trockner...es stimmt einfach alles, div. Anleitungen und Info-Mappe vorhanden. Selbst der Vorort-Service einfach spitze. An einem Sonntagnachmittag hatte sich einmal die Klimaanlage aufgehängt, nach Anruf bei der Verwalterin vor Ort, kamen die Handwerker noch am selben Abend (Sonntag!) und haben das Problem behoben. Haben sofort wieder für das kommende Jahr gebucht. Nachher: Die Rückerstattung der Kaution kam prompt, und zur Buchung für das Folgejahr: s.o. (vorher). Herzlichen Dank für den schönen und reibungslosen Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Besser gehts nicht

Eigentlich sagen die Bewertungen hier ja schon alles, was man wissen muss. Wir (unterwegs nur als Paar) haben durch Zufall dieses Anwesen entdeckt und es hat sich als DER Glücksgriff unseres 3 Wochen Urlaubs in Florida herausgestellt. Ich war schon 5-10 mal in der Naples Umgebung unterwegs, immer zu der gleichen Zeit und muss sagen, so entspannt, angenehm und mit allem was das Herz begehrt habe ich noch nie gewohnt. Eine super schöne Wohngegend, man fühlt sich sicher, schöne Natur mit dem See hinterm Haus, ein weiträumiges Haus mit allem Komfort, den man zu Hause auch nicht besser hat, einfach nur perfekt. Liebe auf den ersten Blick nennt man das wohl. Ob Haushaltsraum zw. Küche und Garage, Wohnzimmer, der Poolbereich/Terrasse... alles war wirklich genau so wie hier mehrfach schon beschrieben. Lärm haben wir zu keiner Zeit empfunden.. ab und an startet ein Privatjet von dem kleinen Airport.. was man aber immer wieder eher fasziniert am Himmel beobachten zwischen Reihern und kleineren Raubvögeln. Störend waren weder diese wenigen Flugzeuge noch irgendein Straßenlärm. Die Lage ist mehr als nah genug an allem was man braucht.. die Tips (wenn auch von uns wenig genutzt weil ich mich schon auskannte) sind reichlich und für jeden was dabei, der Pool lädt zu jeder Tages und Nacht-Zeit dazu ein, einfach mal abzutauchen.. die Eismaschine im Kühlschrank haben wir geliebt.. Einfach nur schön. Wovon wir ganz besonders angetan waren, war das Master Bad... so eine riesige Duschkabine werde ich mir zu Hause auch mal zulegen, alles super schön, elegant, geniale Bade-Whirl-Wanne (wenn ich mich nicht täusche, auch wenn wir sie nicht genutzt haben). Und - was jeder der in Naples schon mal am Strand war, sehr sehr zu schätzen weiß - die Strandausstattung, die man mitnutzen kann, ist genialst. Neben diversen Beach Stühlen, die einfach zu tragen sind, sind vor allem die Schirme und diese Schraubhilfen, um den auch im Boden verankert zu bekommen, einfach nur Gold wert. Man verbrennt sehr leicht in der knalligen Sonne und ohne Schirm ist es quasi nicht auszuhalten.. und so weich und superfein der Sand auch ist.. die schirme kriegt man ohne den Schrauber kaum sicher und fest in den Boden tief genug rein. Bisher hatte ich mir in jedem Urlaub einen günstigen Schirm gekauft.. muss man hier nicht. Alles vorhanden, ebenso Poolnoodlen, Luftmatratzen.. was das Herz begehrt. Hier gehen wir ganz bestimmt wieder hin, beim nächsten Naples Besuch :)))

Traumurlaub in wunderschönem Haus

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub (knapp drei Wochen) in einem perfekt eingerichteten Haus erleben dürfen. Als Familie mit drei Kindern (6, 3 und 1 Jahre) haben wir uns super wohl gefühlt, haben alles vorgefunden (Babyhochstuhl, Babybett, Stand- und Poolspielzeug, etc) und wurden perfekt durch Familie K. betreut. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen und wir kommen gern mal wieder.

Schönes Haus zum heimisch Fühlen

Wir waren schon einige Male in Florida, doch schon kurz nach ersten Betreten sagten wir uns: Ja, das ist es! In einer sehr schön angelegten und hübsch entwickelten gated community gelegen fanden wir das schöne Haus. Die Gate-fee kostet zwar extra - gibt einem aber auch ein gutes Gefühl von zusätzlicher Sicherheit. Das Haus selber liegt in südwestlicher Ausrichtung, was einem am Abend wunderbare Ausblicke auf die untergehende Sonne erlaubt. Überhaupt ist die Lage an einem kleinen See mit der entsprechenden Fauna und Flora sehr schön. Die Poolarea ist herrlich mit einer Hecke zur Seite sowie halbhohen Pflanzen und Sträuchern zur Seeseite angenehm eingefasst und gibt einem ein wenig privacy. Die in einer anderen Bewertung kritisierte Luftliniennähe zur Livingstone Rd. kann bei ungünstigem und starkem Wind zu wahrnehmbaren Srassengeräuschen führen, hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört. Immerhin ist man sozusagen mitten in der Stadt und hat enorme Vorteile, wie kurze Wege zu allen Arten von Geschäften, einen kurzen Weg zum Strand und auch nach Downtown. Das Haus selber ist schön eingerichtet und wirkt sehr sauber und ordentlich. Man kann die Modernisierungen selber erleben, sie wirken wertig. Praktische Details sind z.B eine Art Hauswirtschaftsraun zwischen Garage und Küche mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, einem Wasch-/Spülbecken und der Kühlgefrierkombination, die dadurch nicht unnötige Betriebsgeräusche in der Livingarea verursacht. Ebenfalls praktisch ist der kleine Desk am Ende der Küchenzeile. An der Ausstattung fehlt weder drinnen noch draußen noch für den Strand etwas. Es ist eben ein schönes Haus zum heimisch Fühlen. Vielen Dank auch für die freundliche und verbindliche Betreuung durch Frau K. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Immer wieder gerne!

Wir mieten jetzt schon seit über 10 Jahren fast jeden Sommer das Haus und waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr wohnlich eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen, ob Strandstühle, Sonnenschirme, Grill oder Liegen, es ist alles da was das Herz begehrt. Die Vermieter kümmern sich immer gut und schnell um alle Anliegen und haben eine informative Mappe über Aktivitäten, Restaurants und Ausflugstipps zusammengestellt, die wir inzwischen fast ganz abgearbeitet haben. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage mit 5-10min Fahrzeit zum Strand, diversen Supermärkten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die gated Community ist rund um die Uhr von Sicherheitspersonal überwacht und das Haus liegt alles in allem sehr ruhig, sodass man sich auch gut auf der Terrasse erholen kann. Wir werden auch die kommenden Jahre wieder herkommen

Es geht kaum Besser !!

Liebe Fam. K. Wir haben uns in Ihrem wunderschönen, sehr sauberen Haus äußerst wohl gefühlt. Auch in der gesamte Anlage Briarwood haben wir ( zwei Frauen und zwei Kinder ) uns zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt, alle die wir dort trafen waren nett und hilfsbereit. Die Gästemappe in Ihrem Haus hat uns viele Tips und Anregungen gegeben. Unsere beiden Mädels haben viel im Pool mit den vorhandenen Bällen, Poolnudeln und Schwimmringen gespielt , auch ausreichend Bücher und Spiele für jedes Alter sind im Haus vorhanden. Die Kühlbox, die Sonnenschirme und die tollen Strandstühle haben wir bei jedem Strandbesuch mitgenommen. Danke !!! Es sind viele Kleinigkeiten die unseren Aufenthalt zu einem schönen erholsamen Urlaub gemacht haben.Sie haben wirklich an alles gedacht !!! Auch der Kontakt mit Ihnen über Mail oder Telefon war super. Wir würden zu jeder Zeit Ihr Haus wieder mieten. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag : Ein paar mehr Müsli/Eis Schalen wären schön. :) Liebe Grüße T.M. und A.R.

Erholsame Ferienstunden

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr schönen Siedlung, maximal 10 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Da wir Naples schon von mehreren Besuchen kennen, konnten wir feststellen, dass dieses Ferienhaus ein prima Lage hat. Alle Geschäfte (Walmart, Publix,...), Restaurants und auch der Strand sind mit dem Auto innerhalb 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus ist gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Der Pool ist größer als auf den Bildern erkennbar und war auch bei gut 35 Grad immer prima kühl. Unsere Söhne haben ihn geliebt. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir den sehr netten Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Diese haben auch eine hervorragende Mappe mit Ausflugstipps, Restaurantsempfehlungen usw. für ihre Gäste zusammengestellt.

Schönes Haus mit Abstrichen

Ein schönes Haus mit gemütlicher Innenausstattung. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Leider wird die Entspannung durch die Lage der Unterkunft getrübt. Unweit des Haus liegt die mehrspurige Livingston-Road. Der Verkehrslärm ist teilweise enorm. Ruhe am Pool ist kaum gegeben. Unsere Bedenken diesbezüglich hatten sich leider bestätigt. Die Rückzahlung der Kaution erfolgte sehr schnell.

Wir waren im April 2013 in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war bereits vor Anreise und während des Urlaubes perfekt!! Auch die vorhandenen Ausflugstipps waren sehr hilfreich, die sich in der Gästemappe befinden. Die Lage des Hauses ist super, die Anlage ist durch Sicherheitspersonal bewacht. Man erreicht diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants mit dem Auto innerhalb von wenigen Minuten. Wir haben von dort aus Shopping Malls besucht und einen Ausflug zu den Everglades gemacht. Das Haus ist super gepflegt und sauber und lädt dazu ein den Tag auch mal auf der Terrasse zu verbringen, zu Grillen und natürlich sich im Pool abzukühlen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt absolut nichts. Vielen dank nochmals an die Vermieter für die tolle Betreuung und für diesen wunderbaren Urlaub in Ihrem Haus!!

Einfach super!

Wir waren in diesem Jahr das erste Mal in Florida und konnten einen wirklich super tollen Urlaub verbringen. Nach einer strengen ersten Woche mit vielen Eindrücken, freuten wir uns sehr, noch eine Woche in diesem Haus auszuspannen. Als wir das Haus betraten, waren alle Familienmitglieder hell begeistert. Der schöne Pool konnte natürlich auch die Kinder total begeistern und sie genossen es, wann immer wir zu Hause waren, dort schwimmen zu gehen und sich auf den vorhandenen Schwimmnudeln treiben zu lassen. Die Sicht beim Frühstück und aus dem Liegestuhl war super toll, direkt auf einen kleinen See, wo wir am ersten morgen eine Otterfamilie vorbeischwimmen sahen. Am letzten Tag sichteten wir dort auch noch eine Wasserschildkröte. Einfach natur pur und volle Erholung. Die Wege zum Einkaufen und Strand sind, wie von meinen Vorschreibern erwähnt, mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Ebenfalls hervorzuheben ist auf jeden Fall der sehr freundliche Kontakt mit den Vermietern, der vor, während und nach der Mietzeit stets sehr freundlich ist. Wir würden uns freuen, sofern es der Belegungsplan zulässt, wieder in dem mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Haus, unsere Ferien zu verbringen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage.Wie haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.Die Vermieter sind überaus freundlich und sehr bemüht einem einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Unsere Kinder waren von dem Pool sehr angetan.Durch die angenehmen Wassertemperaturen waren sie kaum aus dem Wasser zu bekommen.Sehr schön ist auch die neue Küche und das tolle Bad. Sehr hilfreich fanden wir auch die Gästemappe mit vielen Tipps zu schönen Stränden, Restaurants... Den neuen Grill haben wir auch benutzt. Die Steaks wurden super zart. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder.
