What makes this House unique
This home was so well-preserved over the many years when other older homes were bulldozed or converted to apartments, because it was owned by people who really appreciated it's splendor and unique character. For 40 years, Alma Anderson ran it as a Hostess House, hosting teas on the front porch, special dinners for guests, and a meeting place for influential people in town. The house immediately welcomes you when you drive in the circle drive and see the majestic porch and swing. Once inside the front door, you know you have found a very special place to relax, read, converse or just dream about what the walls could tell you if they could talk.
