2 King Master Bedroom Suites Atop Ajax Peak On All Paved Security Gated Drive

NEWLY RENOVATED! SEAclusion- St. John offers sweeping sunset to sunrise views, 2 King Master bedrooms with en suite baths, full house a/c and wifi, plus two additional great rooms with optional sofa sleeper for a 5th and/or 6th guest. Sitting majestically 1000 feet atop of Ajax Peak with gated security access on all paved road/driveway, SEAclusion is less than a 20 minute drive from Cruz Bay along all paved roads, and only a short drive from Coral Bay. Less than 5 minutes from the house are the white sand beaches of Maho Bay and its sister beaches. Since SEAclusion is on the ridge top we enjoy views to both East and West Horizons from Coral Bay to beyond Norman Island and then along the North Shore of St. John and the outer cays to the lights of St. Thomas in the distance.

Designed in the Traditional West Indian Great House style, SEAclusion has wonderful architectural details like the sweeping, stone stairway entrance, arched windows and wooden shutters, as well as ballast brick and stone wall detailing. Two levels, accessed by the handmade custom hardwood inside stairway, each with master suite to provide a maximum of privacy for couples or two families. As you enter the villa the great room is to your right through the expansive, stone arch and offers comfortable new furniture to lounge and enjoy the panoramic views. Two 12 foot sliding doors have been recently installed, bringing in the views of Coral Bay, the north shore, and all the way to St. Thomas. Directly ahead is the newly remodeled, well equipped kitchen with TV, hardwood cabinets, and granite countertops. The kitchen provides an indoor dining area with optional bar seating overlooking Coral Bay Harbor. Or dine outdoors off the deck to enjoy the sunset over St. Thomas. You can also gather for pool side dining complete with gas grill to take in that amazing view all the way out to East End, Norman Island and beyond! SEAclusion St. John has decks that wrap entirely around the house so you can adjust your location to take full advantage of the varying sunlight and views. Just delivered the first week in November are comfy outdoor chairs, settee, and chaise lounges for the deck spaces.

Each of the king master suites has a wonderful mix of antique and custom furnishings, a/c, king bed, spacious walk-in closets and en suite bath. Both suites enjoy similar views over Coral Bay and beyond, while the lower suite enjoys a covered veranda with quick access to the pool. The lower level family room has desk, satellite TV, and sofa sleeper with memory foam padding. The villa sleeps 4 comfortably, but additional space for up to two more guests can be provided here with the queen sofa sleeper. The pool deck is spacious with lounge chairs, dining area, lush garden areas and that incredible view to Coral Bay and beyond - complete with in ground, concrete 24' x 12' x 4.5' deep swimming pool.

Last but by no means least, is the roof-top terrace with large built-in bench, accessed by custom indoor, hardwood ladder; the panoramic views here are truly magnificent!

SEAclusion's central island location is ideal for travelers who truly want to experience all St. John has to offer. From the excitement of Cruz Bay, the beautiful beaches of the North Shore, numerous hiking trails, awesome snorkeling sites, to the private and pristine beaches of the southeast and the charm of Coral Bay -- SEAclusion provides fast and easy access to all as well as a private and beautiful retreat to call home at the end of the day.

About SEAclusion St. John

As a couple and with our friends & family, we have visited St. John for a few years now, the first time during a cruise ship stop which docked over on St. Thomas. By jumping on a cab and taking the Red Hook ferry, it was an easy escape from the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas to the true island paradise of St. John! We immediately fell in love with the natural beauty of the island and the people there!

St. John was even more precious to us, as we were born and raised in the Midwest without the luxury of year-round warm temperatures, beautiful Caribbean beaches, and the care-free lifestyle of island living. So it wasn't too hard to resist the temptation of buying our own piece of island paradise.

We have a large family (3 kids currently in college) and full-time commitments (jobs) back in the States, so we can not enjoy the island as much as we'd like to right now... that is why we wish to share our piece of paradise with you and hope that you, too, will come to love the island as much as we do.

SEAclusion St. John purchased this villa in 2013

Why SEAclusion St. John chose USVI/St. John

We chose SEAclusion - St. John primarily for its location. The central island location provides quick access to the North Shore beaches, numerous hiking trails, and the great restaurants in both Coral & Cruz Bay.

During our first few visits to St. John we stayed near Cruz Bay thinking we would be closer to all the island's best attractions. However, that theory quickly vanished when we stayed at SEAclusion and discovered its location was closer to most of the beautiful North Shore beaches than our previously rentals had been in Cruz Bay. Maho Bay is less than 2 miles or 5 minute drive away from the villa; and the beaches of Cinnamon, Trunk, & Hawksnest are just a few minutes beyond to the west on Route 20. In addition, some of the best snorkeling sites and scenic hiking trails on the island are found in the central to east side of St. John. The close proximity to the charming & unique restaurants in Coral Bay, complement the fine restaurants in Cruz Bay and provide a greater selection when going out for a night on the town!

Lastly, but perhaps most important - we chose this property with for its amazing Sunrise to Sunset ocean views! Situated high up on Ajax Peak the property boosts prime views over Coral Bay, the East End & beyond to the BVIs in the southeast; and then to the northwest for views of Maho, Cinnamon, the outer cays and beyond to St. Thomas for gorgeous sunsets. These views can be seen from inside the villa to outside the villa on its wrap around decks & also from the roof-top terrace.

What makes this villa unique

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION -- one of the only villas on St. John that boasts prime, panoramic views of Coral Bay and the East End for sunrises; and of the North Shore and St. Thomas for sunsets. Other unique benefits of the villa include its all masonry solid construction with two living levels connected by a beautiful hardwood inside open staircase all under one roof fully screened and air conditioned.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving week here at this wonderful house! We love the breeze in the afternoons and the rainstorms every night. The house offered every creature comfort you’d possibly have forgotten at home. We’re big cooks so we definitely appreciated the sharp knives and variety of spices. And when we got tired of cooking we ventured out and never had a bad meal. Aqua Bistro (for dinners) and Ship Wreck ( for lunches). With so much eating, we swam it off everyday by snorkeling at Jumbie, Water Lemon and Lameshur . We also did a one-day tour with Bad Kitty. The name is strange but the crew was fantastic. Enjoy your time here, we definitely did!

What a great house!

  • 5 of 5

I lived on St. John from 1964 until about 1975. My family lived on a ridge not unlike Ajax Peak, just a mile east of this house. I have to say that the views from Seaclusion are spectacular - Coral Bay spreads out in front of you, and the islands that lead to St. Thomas skip away behind you. And Coral Bay is a town much like Cruz Bay was back in the "paradise" days, so being closer to the quiet side is a real plus. I was worried about coming back to St. John after all these years, and while some of those fears were realized, Seaclusion made everything so much better for us. We came here with friends, the man having been a friend of mine when we grew up together on St. John. He and his wife loved the pool in spite of it being "winter", so we came back for drinks and a swim after the days spent at the beaches. And it was wonderful being near the less visited beaches on the island so we could avoid the cruise ship day-trippers at will!

We'll come back to St. John and Seaclusion some day soon!

Best of everything

  • 5 of 5

We have had the fortune to stay in beautiful places in beautiful houses but none tops this stay ending in late January 2015. The pictures and videos while totally accurate do not do this house justice. This has seclusion, peace and quiet, and everything you would need for a happy vacation. It was so clean; everything worked and the views made you not want to leave. It is on the quiet side of the island but is only two miles away from Coral Bay that has everyone you might need including great food and an abundance of local color; and not just the beautiful color of the sea!

We always think we will come back again but I think this time we mean it> I could not recommend this place any more highly!

Great Time & Stay at Seaclusion

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from an awesome stay at SEAclusion St. John – it’s an amazing villa!

We have been coming to St. John for several years now, but our stay at SEAclusion tops them all. Not only is the villa located in a prime location, with close access to St. John’s best beaches and hiking trails, it is one of the only villas in St. John that enjoys sunrise and sunset ocean views! We watched the sunset everyday from the rooftop! The villa is located uptop Ajax’s Peak with views down to Coral Bay and to the west over Maho/Cinnamon Bays and St. Thomas.

The villa has all the comforts of home – fully equipped kitchen, comfy king beds, outdoor furniture to relax in, private swimming pool, beach mats, beach coolers & chairs, and Dish Network with a DVD streaming unit to watch shows from our Netflix account (even though we didn’t use that much!) The photos do not do the property justice – the ocean views from inside and outside the home are truly amazing. We will be back soon!
