2 King Master Bedroom Suites Atop Ajax Peak On All Paved Security Gated Drive
Designed in the Traditional West Indian Great House style, SEAclusion has wonderful architectural details like the sweeping, stone stairway entrance, arched windows and wooden shutters, as well as ballast brick and stone wall detailing. Two levels, accessed by the handmade custom hardwood inside stairway, each with master suite to provide a maximum of privacy for couples or two families. As you enter the villa the great room is to your right through the expansive, stone arch and offers comfortable new furniture to lounge and enjoy the panoramic views. Two 12 foot sliding doors have been recently installed, bringing in the views of Coral Bay, the north shore, and all the way to St. Thomas. Directly ahead is the newly remodeled, well equipped kitchen with TV, hardwood cabinets, and granite countertops. The kitchen provides an indoor dining area with optional bar seating overlooking Coral Bay Harbor. Or dine outdoors off the deck to enjoy the sunset over St. Thomas. You can also gather for pool side dining complete with gas grill to take in that amazing view all the way out to East End, Norman Island and beyond! SEAclusion St. John has decks that wrap entirely around the house so you can adjust your location to take full advantage of the varying sunlight and views. Just delivered the first week in November are comfy outdoor chairs, settee, and chaise lounges for the deck spaces.
Each of the king master suites has a wonderful mix of antique and custom furnishings, a/c, king bed, spacious walk-in closets and en suite bath. Both suites enjoy similar views over Coral Bay and beyond, while the lower suite enjoys a covered veranda with quick access to the pool. The lower level family room has desk, satellite TV, and sofa sleeper with memory foam padding. The villa sleeps 4 comfortably, but additional space for up to two more guests can be provided here with the queen sofa sleeper. The pool deck is spacious with lounge chairs, dining area, lush garden areas and that incredible view to Coral Bay and beyond - complete with in ground, concrete 24' x 12' x 4.5' deep swimming pool.
Last but by no means least, is the roof-top terrace with large built-in bench, accessed by custom indoor, hardwood ladder; the panoramic views here are truly magnificent!

About: As a couple and with our friends & family, we have visited St. John for a few years now, the first time during a cruise ship stop which docked over on St. Thomas. By jumping on a cab and taking the Red Hook ferry, it was an easy escape from the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas to the true island paradise of St. John! We immediately fell in love with the natural beauty of the island and the people there! St. John was even more precious to us, as we were born and raised in the Midwest without the luxury of year-round warm temperatures, beautiful Caribbean beaches, and the care-free lifestyle of island living. So it wasn't too hard to resist the temptation of buying our own piece of island paradise. We have a large family (3 kids currently in college) and full-time commitments (jobs) back in the States, so we can not enjoy the island as much as we'd like to right now... that is why we wish to share our piece of paradise with you and hope that you, too, will come to love the island as much as we do.
Why Estate Maho Bay, Saint John, USVI:
We chose SEAclusion - St. John primarily for its location. The central island location provides quick access to the North Shore beaches, numerous hiking trails, and the great restaurants in both Coral & Cruz Bay. During our first few visits to St. John we stayed near Cruz Bay thinking we would be closer to all the island's best attractions. However, that theory quickly vanished when we stayed at SEAclusion and discovered its location was closer to most of the beautiful North Shore beaches than our previously rentals had been in Cruz Bay. Maho Bay is less than 2 miles or 5 minute drive away from the villa; and the beaches of Cinnamon, Trunk, & Hawksnest are just a few minutes beyond to the west on Route 20. In addition, some of the best snorkeling sites and scenic hiking trails on the island are found in the central to east side of St. John. The close proximity to the charming & unique restaurants in Coral Bay, complement the fine restaurants in Cruz Bay and provide a greater selection when going out for a night on the town! Lastly, but perhaps most important - we chose this property with for its amazing Sunrise to Sunset ocean views! Situated high up on Ajax Peak the property boosts prime views over Coral Bay, the East End & beyond to the BVIs in the southeast; and then to the northwest for views of Maho, Cinnamon, the outer cays and beyond to St. Thomas for gorgeous sunsets. These views can be seen from inside the villa to outside the villa on its wrap around decks & also from the roof-top terrace.
