Private Large Chalet True Ski-In Ski-Out Perfect Location, Family/Pet Friendly

The property is currently getting completely renovated for the 25/26 season. Everything will be new including kitchen, bathrooms, appliances, etc. Pricing for 25/26 season will reflect that. Pictures will be updated as soon as the work is done. It will look amazing! I have included photos of some of the work getting down so you can see the new roof, siding, walls, kitchen, rooms, flooring, everything!!

Perfect chalet for large groups or multi-families sharing a single unit to relax & have fun, enjoy a cosy fire, play pool, unwind in a private hot tub while enjoying some of the best views on the mountain. Along with comfortably accommodating up to 16 people, there is ample outside parking and a garage to securely store your ski gear and a extra large mud room to dry all your clothing and equipment.

We are constantly updating the condo and we have just installed a new oven, re-felted the pool table, new cushions (on the pool table), new pool cues, invested in new furniture, all beds are new (2017) are new and have 500 thread count sheets, new towels, new light fixtures - the entire building is LED - new pictures on the walls and more cooking equipment. New washer, dryer and dishwasher (2018). New flooring upstairs and I'm going room-to-room painting, re flooring and redecorating every year.

The ski-in/ski-out chalet is located minutes from the Snow Ghost & Ridge Rocket Chair. Enjoy skiing right up to the chalet to come in for lunch or finish skiing for the day. The Chalet connects to a lighted walking path taking you to the Big White village.

The expansive great room provides plenty of space for large groups to relax and enjoy the open wood fire, play pool and eat comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen includes full fridge and freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine & kettle, crock pot, pots and pans, dinnerware for 16, and an assortment of baking ware.

We are now open for the summer season for hiking, mountain biking and generally enjoying mounting life during the summer. During the summer we do not run the hot tub.

All four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for multi-family accommodation. The bedrooms are located on the upper floors and set back from the main living area providing for a quiet space to settle in for the night.

We have 65" TV in the main room with Telus TV. In the den there's a 50" TV connected to a Roku system. A spare TV in the kids room upstairs.

Jacuzzi private hot tub is available with massage jets for upper and lower back and feet. Perfect after a day of powder skiing! Fantastic view of the Monashee mountain range can be enjoyed from the hot tub while listening to music. **Please note that even though the photos indicate one, there is no BBQ. And we do not run the hot tub during the summer.

Please note we only rent to families and no groups under the age of 30. This condo, and indeed the neighbouring properties, are family orientated and quiet. You can enjoy your evenings with music, games, playing pool, music outside by the hot tub, etc. but we want to avoid party groups and younger holidaymakers. Sorry!

What a wonderful, welcoming home for our large family! The skiers in our family were thrilled to ski in and out from this location. All of us enjoyed the comforts of home which were many, especially the comfortable couches, the pool table, hot tub, and fireplace. The kitchen is complete; every appliance and tool you need and room for multiple cooks. The home is comfortably furnished from the spacious living area to the bedrooms. From the garage, you enter a huge storage area with ski racks and space to store all those wet ski boots and hang coats and helmets. Everything you need is right here.

Great location for Snow Pines

The unit was big and clean and worked perfectly for our group. Snow Pines is not the most convenient location on the mountain, but this unit was on the close side which made ski in/ski out much easier.

Fantastic ski-in, ski-out condo with plenty of room at a very reasonable price! Comfortably housed six adults and five teenagers eager to enjoy all Big White has to offer. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage room for all our gear, easy parking for three vehicles, and best of all a hot tub with a view! Justin, the owner was very easy to work with and very responsive to all our inquiries. We'll definitely look at coming back!

Family of 6, all adults, enjoyed a family vacation of skiing, skating, tubing, games and food. Very convenient location with true ski in/out. Owners were very responsive to questions/comments. Well stocked kitchen and very cozy living area. Our only recommendation is to build a cover over the deck where the hot tub is. It would make the use of the hot tub more convenient and enjoyable and safer. 5 stars all around!

Powder Perch 5 star family ski vacation!

This was a great spot for our family ski vacation at Big White. Our group was two young families of four and two grandparents. The large common area and kids play room were perfect for before and after skiing for the kids. The bedroom setup worked really well for this type of group. The location is true ski-in/out...we quite literally could ski directly to the garage door at the end of each day. Justin was very easy to communicate with and responsive to questions throughout the stay. We had an awesome trip and will definitely look to return! Thanks!!

This chateau’s pictures did not do it justice. Quitemodern and tremendous space. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was really stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans. Having three bathrooms was a luxury and nice added feature. Only feedback is in the summer sometimes there were hot days and with no AC, having windows open would have been nice but bugs was an issue at night and with no screens in the windows made for some hot night sleeps. Having a bar b q would have also been a nice feature along with a running a hot tub would have been nice at the end of a day of activities. There is very little stores in Big White so groceries and gas should be purchased in Kelowna prior to. Overall it is very well maintained and spacious property that worked very well for our large group.

We absolutely LOVED this home! This home is a true ski-in/ski-out, even for snowboarders via the green Serwa's trail or the blue Born to Run trail, and is located directly off of the walking trail that takes you to the Village. The home is open and spacious and features a huge A-Frame ceiling in the great room. The teens loved the bunk rooms! We all enjoyed being cozy by the wood-burning fireplace, playing pool in the evenings, listening to music on the Sonos system, and relaxing in the private hot tub, which was super-clean! Saturday night fireworks could be viewed from the warmth of the great room. The kitchen is fully-stocked and has plenty of room to prepare meals and eat. The garage and mud room are perfect for getting geared up before riding each day, and has plenty of hooks and racks to store gear. The home was super-clean! Justin was excellent with communication. Fantastic stay! Thank you, Justin!

I would recommend this place for all of you! If you are looking for a budget house. Book this one now! The place is so clean and spacious! The kitchenwares are complete. The beds are so comfy! They also have a billiards to play every night after we got home from a tiring day. It is so relaxing. Also the host replies really fast! Check-in and out was so smooth! Thankyou so much Host for giving us a nice place for our Kelowna Trip. We will comeback in winter to experience the Hot Tub. ☺️ The way going to Big White is kind of a roller coaster ride tho, but we enjoyed it. We just got confused a little bit as to where to throw the Garbage , but we made it. The neighborhood is so calm and peaceful. Also there is also a security that drives around everyday and everynight. So all in all. This house is a 100% for us. ❤️

It was our second time at this property (2016, 2020). We are from Ontario and fly in for a 5 day stay. It has everything you need. The ski in and ski out, and hot tub is perfect. The pool table is a nice bonus too. It slept 14 of us comfortably. It is a fully equipped kitchen with lots of storage. Owners Justin and Laura are very quick at answering any questions prior to us arriving and during our stay. We very much appreciate the opportunity to stay in this great accommodation! We are all ready planning our 2022 stay!

Canadian born but raised in the UK. Justin moved back to Kelowna 16 years ago to raise a family and enjoy the beautiful climate and outdoor lifestyle on offer in the Okanagan. We now have four gorgeous kiddos and they, along with us, love to ski Big White!

Why they chose this property

I personally rented this property for seven years straight. We had rented elsewhere and nothing came close the space, privacy, location for ski-in ski-out, views from the deck and the open fireplace this property had to offer. When the owner approached us it didn't take long to arrange a deal. It is the perfect location for relaxing (it's incredibly quiet), inviting large groups and for making some noise yourself!

What makes this property unique

Location, space, the open fireplace, private, garage, easy parking and the views. The one thing that people comment on is the living room. Hard to capture in the pictures but it's big enough for large groups to either play games around the table, relax on the sofas, watch a game/a film, play pool and socialise. You spend all your time there and it's amazingly social. Plus ALL the bedrooms are far away from the living area so it's perfect for bringing young children up like we do. Put them to bed and continue having fun as the noise doesn't travel upstairs. That's an incredibly useful feature as we have 4 young children ourselves. Some old, some young!
