This home is in a perfect location to enjoy both the beach and the bay and has beautiful views of both. Our family was able to utilize all of the numerous amenities included with this rental. We opted to rent the golf cart which made the trip to the beach and pools so easy, especially for my youngest adult daughter who has trouble walking in the sand or short distances without the use of a wheelchair. The Dunes Drive Beach Access, across the street, has an optional mobi-mat and no steps to climb. Also, you can purchase a permit allowing you to operate a golf cart or vehicle on the beach. (Owner already has a permit for the golf cart) Everything you need for your time at the beach is included, tents, chairs and even towels. My family also enjoyed time in the bay on the kayaks. We felt very secure in the gated community...safe enough to allow our grandchildren to ride the scooters around the neighborhood. The home is beautifully decorated; the beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of 11 who stayed a week. The elevator is definitely an added bonus to this rental as well. The owner was very attentive to a few small issues that arose and even offered additional days due to tropical storm Bertha making her arrival just a few days after ours. Although our schedule didn't allow, this was a very gracious, unexpected offer. I felt the rental fee was very fair, especially with the location and amenities offered. We would love to stay here again!
