If you like solitude in a clean, well-decorated retreat, then this is the place! If you are a nature lover, it also checks the boxes. In mid-May, we saw wild turkey, deer, and a groundhog. While we never saw them, raccoon made their presence known. A bird call app registered 15 different species. Hiking nearby. If you want to go out to eat or get groceries, just about anything you could want is around 20 minutes away or less. Great place for nature enthusiast, artist, prayer retreat, honeymoon... Was a total re-set for us.

The home is in a beautiful setting, including a field with wildflowers and creek. Lots of nature to enjoy. The owners were very accommodating and responsive when issues popped up with the generator and refrigerator. To note, the home is one large room without a separate bedroom and the refrigerator is small and without a freezer. The owners jumped in with a cooler and ice when we found that it wasn’t keeping food cool enough. The horse corral was also a big plus for our larger dog to get some zoomies out.
