Few issues with burned out lights, drippy faucet but overall beautiful and peaceful.

Thank you for sharing youf wonderful cabin with us......

Perfect area..beautiful and convenient but still secluded and private! Needs a bit of maintenance, several light bulbs out, kitchen faucet continuously drips, wall paper coming off. We did have a bit of trouble finding the driveway as it is not marked and you can not see the house from the road.

Having said all this we loved the cabin! Will stay again for sure and highly recommend!

Great layout, private lot, and natural beauty surrounds.

  • 4 of 5

Lots of living space! Large table, screened porch, large deck, and fire pit. We hung our eno hammocks for naps, built a fire, and just enjoyed the fabulous weather and woods. The bedrooms and baths are very spacious and clean. Kitchen has everything. Close to Mentone and Summerville. We enjoyed our time exploring the area. Menlo has a grocery store and dollar store for quick items. This is a great getaway and a great price.

Cozy and adorable cabin in the woods!

  • 4 of 5

We arrived to a very clean cabin. There was plenty of seating and space for our family of four adults plus two large retrievers. There also were plenty of towels and everyday supplies for our needs.

Cons: The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. It looks cool, but is not comfy at all. Also, the beds are very low to the ground, no box springs.

Pros: The place is adorable and has just about everything you need for cooking and relaxing, all the conveniences of a house. The bathrooms and bedrooms were good sized. The fire pit was great, we used it several times over the weekend to relax and make smores and hobo meals. We also made use of the bbq grill. We went hiking right on the cabin property and at Cloudland Canyon State Park. It was amazing. Nearby are Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon, DeSoto Falls, and the wildlife management area which also have plenty of trails and waterfalls. The cabin is conveniently located right in the middle of all of this beautiful scenery, a plus for nature lovers like us! The kitchen was stocked with everyday items (we brought our own, but it was nice to know there was stuff there if needed!) There were tons of movies to choose from. There was pretty much no internet, which we consider a good thing, it is part of why we chose this cabin in the first place. We wanted (NEEDED) to get away from it all and unplug for a few days. It does a body good! We played cards and hooked up our Eno hammocks out by the fire and read our books. We also walked around the small town of Mentone, which is right up the road. We did not eat there this time because we cooked all of our meals as a family at the cabin, but we come to Mentone often. The Wildflower Cafe Restaurant is the best! We also love to visit the art gallery in Mentone and Miracle Pottery. The screen porch off the side of the cabin was nice, too. We were very pleased at the location of the cabin!

We had a wonderful weekend and cannot wait to come back again (my husband even asked if we could buy the place-hahaha)!

The cabin was great. A little drive from Chattanooga but it was a beautiful drive so that was no problem. Would recommend this cabin as a nice get a way.

It was a great cozy place!

This was a great getaway! Not much cell service and no cable, but there was plenty of movies and I really enjoyed being unplugged! Mentone is only 15 minutes away and cloudland canyon was about 30 minutes away! Very enjoyable!
