Unit is directly on the beach. However you have to walk thru one of the guest bedrooms to gain access or walk around the complex. It was a little weird to walk in and out of someone’s bedroom. The only other negative was there was no storage anywhere. No closets or a pantry. However we had a good time for a 3 generation vacation.
