Enjoy slow mornings on the deck, calm-water kayaking from the property, covered hot tub evenings, beach combing, fires, s'mores, stargazing and quiet time together. Watch for harbor seals, eagles and changing tides from the house. With 4 bedrooms, it sleeps up to 8 with space to spread out. Level 2 EV charger on site (J1772).

Nestled on Utsalady Bay on Camano Island, Cove & Cedar is your relaxing getaway with stunning views of the Puget Sound, Mt Baker and Whidbey Island. Only 1hr 20 minutes away from Seattle, Camano Island has a bucolic charm and easy no-ferry access.

There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on Camano Island. Camano Island State Park (16 minutes drive) and Cama Beach State Park (14 minutes drive).

Feeling adventurous? Canopy Tours NW Zipline adventures offers a 2.5hr adventure amongst the tree tops (9 minute drive).

Camano Island local favorites include 2nd Chance Thrift Shop (8 min drive), Cama Beach Cafe (14 min drive) and Camano Commons Marketplace (5 minute drive) which has a variety of restaurants, Camano Island Coffee Roasters, Artwork and Souvenirs, and locally grown vegetables.

Guests have private access to the home, outdoor living areas, waterfront yard, beach access area, hot tub, deck, fire pit, BBQ grill, and guest-designated amenities during their stay.

Cove & Cedar sits on approximately 1.4 acres with mature trees, waterfront yard space and beach frontage. Guests may enjoy the yard, waterfront, beach area, outdoor seating areas, and kayaks when conditions are calm and safe. Please use waterfront areas, beach access, kayaks, hot tub, stairs, and fire features carefully and at your own risk. Children must be closely supervised at all times near the water, hot tub, stairs, and fire features.

Please respect all posted or obvious property boundaries and do not enter neighboring properties, docks, yards, driveways, or beach areas beyond Cove & Cedar’s property. Beach and waterfront conditions can change with tides, weather, and driftwood, so use caution.

Guests may use the provided household amenities, kitchen supplies, linens, towels, hairdryer, starter supplies, washer/dryer, outdoor seating, grill, hot tub, and kayaks as described in the listing and house guide.

Off-limits areas include locked cabinets, owner storage areas, maintenance/supply storage, utility areas not intended for guest use, and any locked doors, closets, sheds, crawl spaces, or garages unless specifically approved by the host. Please do not open locked cabinets or attempt to access locked or clearly private areas.

Cove & Cedar is a 3-level waterfront home designed for families, couples traveling together, and small groups who want space to gather while still having room to spread out. The home has 4 bedrooms, 2 three-quarter bathrooms (shower only), and 1 half ensuite bathroom in the primary bedroom. The levels are connected by a spiral staircase, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.

Main / Entry Level:
The main level includes the kitchen, dining area, living room, one three-quarter bathroom (shower only), and access to the deck, propane grill and outdoor living areas. This is the primary gathering space for meals, coffee, games, and relaxing with waterfront views. The primary bedroom and en-suite half bath are on this level.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, basic kitchen tools, coffee supplies, and appliances for everyday cooking.

Dining Area:
The dining area is located next to the kitchen and main living space, making it easy for the group to gather for meals, board games, or planning the day.

Living Room:
The living room is set up for relaxing after a day on the water, watching the view, reading, or spending time together. Large windows bring in natural light and Puget Sound views.

Primary Bedroom:
The primary bedroom is located on the entry level and includes a half ensuite bathroom. This room is on the opposite side from the main indoor gathering areas for added privacy. This room has deck access through sliding doors.

Additional Bedrooms:
The home includes three additional bedrooms for guests. The bedroom layout is designed to work well for families, couples, and small groups. Please review the bedroom setup in the listing photos and sleeping arrangements before booking to make sure it works for your group.

Bathrooms:
There are 2 three-quarter bathrooms (shower only) and 1 half bathroom. Three-quarter bathrooms are located on the entry/main level and lower level. The primary bedroom has a half ensuite bathroom.

Lower Level:
The lower level includes additional sleeping space, a full bathroom, full-sized washer/dryer and access to the waterfront/outdoor areas. This level gives larger groups more room to spread out.

Outdoor Spaces:
Guests can enjoy the deck, waterfront yard, outdoor seating areas, hot tub, propane grill, fire pit, kayaks, and beach access area. Outdoor spaces are intended for quiet enjoyment of the waterfront setting.

Stairs / Accessibility Note:
The home is arranged over 3 levels connected by a spiral staircase. Guests should be comfortable using stairs. The property may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility, and young children should be closely supervised around stairs, the hot tub, fire features, and waterfront areas.

No smoking or vaping.
No pets unless approved in writing.
No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.
Maximum occupancy is 8 guests.
Quiet hours are 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM.

Cove & Cedar is a 3-level private waterfront home connected by a spiral staircase. Guests should be comfortable using stairs to access all levels of the home. The entry level, which includes the primary bedroom, is located one step up from the driveway. This level also includes bathrooms, kitchen, deck, BBQ, dining area, and common living areas.

The property includes natural terrain, uneven outdoor surfaces, and waterfront/beach areas that may be slippery, steep, tidal, rocky, or uneven. The home may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility and is not represented as ADA-compliant or wheelchair-accessible.

Hot tub, kayaks, beach access, fire pit, and waterfront areas are used at guest’s own risk. Children must be supervised near water, stairs, hot tub, and fire pit.

Two exterior security cameras are present: one doorbell camera and one camera facing the garage/driveway. No indoor cameras.

The property’s covered moorage is not currently in service and we do not offer a mooring buoy at this time. There is a public boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road/beach, which is the best launch option. It is Utsalady Point County Park.
