Can't rave enough about this house!

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house for its location right on the beach. The house was just as described, if not actually better. The kitchen and living area were so cute and cozy. I was nervous because not every room was pictured, but I should not have been because all three of the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The extra loft area/bed is a great place for kids, just lacks the privacy as it is off the hall, so I don't recommend it for adults. It is somewhat difficult to get to the beach with the large drift wood in the way. But, no one in my family had trouble climbing over. Eric, the property manager/owner, was fantastic. He was always responsive to questions, quick to refund our deposit, and even gave us tips on restaurants, grocery stores and activities. This is truly a special place. It is perfect for families or for those wanting a romantic getaway. I found the location convenient, only about a 10 minute drive to grocery, shopping, and dining. But, you will need a car with this location. Eric recommended a kayak company that brought kayaks and stand up paddle boards right to our door. I recommend taking advantage of that.

Absolutely the best vacation house ever!

  • 5 of 5

Eric is amazing, very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful, the only one I saw with trees for privacy! We came as a part of a reunion and three different rentals were booked for various family. This, by far, was the best of the three! The beach is close, the views are amazing. This house has everything you need. Groceries are close. One word of warning, it's island time. No coffee before 9am so buy some! We walked out on the sand bar and waded in the water, watching the crabs run! It's amazing. The porches are so comfy.....the kitchen is well stocked. We loved it......if we ever come back to this area, we'd definitely stay here again!

Most tranquil place on the planet

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Whidbey Island and we took some old friends from the East Coast with us who had never been to WA. All four of us could not get over how beautiful this place is. The house is amazing. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The views are breathtaking. We saw a few herons, an eagle, sea lions (or maybe they were otters). There was a berry farm up the road and a whiskey distillery I highly recommend. The town of Langley is close by and is very charming. My favorite part was sitting on the deck and looking out over the bay with my cup of tea. One morning a deer walked right up to the deck! We also took a trip to Ebey's Landing. Eric was super responsive prior to our trip had tons of great suggestions for us. It may possibly be the best vacation of my life. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. We did not want to leave. Bring some flip flops or shoes for the beach because there are a lot of sharp clam shells and rocks.

Perfect Family Get-away

  • 5 of 5

Bells Beach Lodge is such a beautiful house right on the waters edge and only about a 10 min drive from Langely and about 15 mins from Freeland. Three families stayed here for two nights and it fit us all very comfortably. There were more than enough beds for us all. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The upper bedrooms were dark and very quiet so it was perfect for those that wanted to head to bed earlier than the rest. The stone fireplace in the living room was one of my favorite features along with the large windows overlooking the water – so peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. We all enjoyed searching for sea shells along the beach and I appreciated the basket sand toys for my kids to use. Owner Eric was wonderful to work with and very responsive to emails. We hope to make this our annual get-away home!

Girl's Getaway

The house is beautiful. It was the perfect setting for our girl's weekend. We cooked and drank wine and enjoyed the view and each other's company.
