A car makes the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast easy to explore, from redwood groves to coastal bluffs. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.



Other Things to Note:

• The cottage stays naturally cool thanks to the redwood canopy overhead — you'll find the forest shade and cross-ventilation through multiple windows keeps temperatures comfortable without air conditioning.

• While the photos show a washer/dryer, these are not available for guest use during your stay.

• The primary renter must be 21 or older.

• The smart lock requires a steady hand — if the light flashes red, simply wait 5 seconds for it to reset and try again.

• After 3 incorrect attempts, the lock enters a 30-second timeout.
