Wonderful Farm Stay!

The house was very cute, fully stocked in the kitchen, and comfortable beds. It was so pleasant to wake up and walk out to the porch and have piggies, turkeys, and cats in the front yard. My morning walks with my toddler consisted of coffee, feeding the animals carrots and petting her new favorite animal, a donkey, named Dexter! 10/10 reccomend and we will certainly be back again. Thank you Elaine for being a wonderful host and most kind.

Coffee With Pigs — What More Could You Want?

We had such a wonderful stay here. The farmhouse was spacious, comfortable, and had great air conditioning - which was very appreciated in August! Each bedroom also had an excellent sound machine, so despite being surrounded by animals outside, the house itself was super quiet for sleeping. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the access to the animals is what made the stay really special. We loved having our morning coffee surrounded by horses, pigs, cats, sheep, chickens, dogs and more wandering around. Before we arrived, we wondered whether we might be lucky enough to have a pig stop by while we were sitting on the porch. We definitely didn't need to worry, there were pigs in abundance, including many happily nestled down right underneath the porch! There were actually even more animals roaming around than we expected, and getting to simply spend casual time among them was such a unique experience. The house was comfortable and relaxing, but being able to step outside and immediately be part of life at the sanctuary made the stay unforgettable. We'd absolutely recommend staying here, especially for anyone who loves animals and wants a peaceful experience that's much more memorable than a typical vacation rental.
