The place was even better than pictured online. We absolutely enjoyed coffee on the dock in the morning and watching the wildlife, being able to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and the super cozy master suite. Thanks for a great stay!

What a gem! I hope more people discover the town of Interlachen and find this wonderful place to stay. The owners really went above and beyond with every detail to make this an unforgettable stay. We have stayed at lots of VRBO’s over the years and this may have been one of the nicest. Highly reccomend!

We live in Jacksonville, FL with our three amazing kids. Our family loves to travel and above all we have found the biggest joy in hosting! We started our dream of owning a vacation property almost 2 years ago when we stumbled upon this area of Florida that is a hidden gem. We have poured our creativity and heart into this Cottage and cant wait to share it with you and your family!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is made up of mainly retired couples who have come to love this quiet "one red light" old Florida town. The neighborhood is an HOA neighborhood with a fantastic neighborhood watch program. You'll feel very safe as our neighbors often help us keep watch on the house when its not being rented. You'll find our lake becomes very active on weekends and boats in the boat ramp will line up occasionally as our neighbors enjoy the lake.

What makes this property unique

Our property is the newest home in our area featuring all high end amenities. Whether it's starting the morning out on the paddle boards, soaking in the hot tub or sitting by the fire there is not a bad seat at the Cottage. If you want to spend your entire stay at the property you will not regret it. Maybe you want to hit the road for a day trip? Not only are you just steps from the spring fed Grandin Lake we are in the heart of Spring country. We are within an hour to over 20 springs. The amount of day trips from our Cottage are vast. You can be in Gainesville, St.Augustine Beach, Jacksonville, Ocala or Lake City all within an hour. Orlando and Disney are just a tad further but the options are endless!
