We had a great time. Made use of the beautiful kitchen and the jacuzzi tub! We loved having availability of paddle boats, kayaks and row boats on site. Location was fabulous….close enough to Frankfort yet far enough to have a quiet peaceful getaway.

This place was everything we hoped for and more! It was obvious that the owners had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable. From the charcoal grill on the deck, complete with charcoal, lighter fluid, and a lighter, to the Q-tips and cotton balls in the bathrooms, laundry detergent for the washer and dryer, and plenty of towels and washcloths—there were so many thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home.There is also access to the lake directly across the street, with chairs and fire pits right by the water, along with dry firewood for s’mores and campfires. The kids loved swimming in the lake, and it was very clean and shallow enough that they had plenty of room to swim and play comfortably.The location was perfect for us—only about 25 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, and there was a grocery store less than 10 minutes away with everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the food at the Hammered Heifer, which was just a short drive away. There’s even a little bakery nearby that is essentially a small 4x4 shed with an honor-pay station, and it had some amazing baked goods!We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing getaway. Easily a 10/10!
