We loved our stay at this beautiful home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, in a great location and super comfortable. It has a great coffee bar, and the kitchen has pretty much everything we needed for our four night visit to the area. A huge plus is that it is very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, plenty of hiking/biking trails and, of course, beautiful Little Glen Lake and Glen Lake. It was also fun seeing a family of deer in the yard every day and a few turkeys as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for providing such a nice place to stay!

Couldn’t ask for a more perfect rental

This didn’t feel like a rental! Great amenities all around. We appreciated the care and thoughtfulness of every detail. From having everything we needed in the kitchen to cozy blankets to enjoy on the couch. No detail was missed. Melissa was an amazing host. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in this beautifully remodeled house at the base of Sleeping Bear Dunes!The beds were so comfortable, as well as the family room furniture. The house was very well appointed with a grill, cookware and dishes making it enjoyable to cook meals. We enjoyed swimming and boating in Little Glen & Glen Lakes, hiking the dunes and the walking/biking path that borders the front yard. The owner Melissa was so responsive and accommodating to work with. We would definitely rent this home again!

This house has a perfect location close to all the great things to do in Sleeping Bear Dunes. It is larger than it looks in the photos - super clean - great beds and our family of 4 with 2 college age kids had plenty of space. Right in front of the property is Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail - wish we would have brought our bikes. We have visited this area multiple times and this house was one of the best places we have stayed. Being close to everything allowed up to go to Empire Beach and North Bar Lake to do stand up paddle boards, beach fire at Glen Haven Beach, look for shooting stars, hike Empire Trail (go past the log it is worth it), hike sleeping bear point trail, visit Glen Arbor, shop / eat in Traverse City and end it with a beautiful sunset at Stop 9 on Pierce Stocking Drive - hike up the sand dune for a great view. Love it - thanks Melissa for a great stay !

I love walking the beach, exploring local restaurants, and visiting the many wineries throughout Leelanau County. We’re a family of four, with two college-age sons who enjoy golfing and boating on Glen Lake.

The proximity to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan and Glen Lake make this the perfect place to spend your vacation. Additionally, the bike trail runs in front of our house for easy access to the beauty of the area by bike.
