This vacation rental is just a few miles from the Durango Hot Springs, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. And when you're ready to explore, you'll find plenty of nearby attractions, like the Bar D Chuckwagon with its Old West Cowboy Music Show or the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad where you can relive the Wild West with a ride through the San Juan National Forest. Spend your summer days hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or golfing, while visits in winter offer opportunities for skiing, snowshoeing, or just snuggling up in front of the wood stove.

This classic condo comes complete with a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table for mealtimes or family game nights, and an inviting living area (guests may not use the fireplace) with a TV for streaming all your favorite channels using your own accounts. In warm weather, step outside and take in the view off your private balcony.

A/C would be nice for summer stays; it was 95 deg when we arrived, so it was really warm when we tried to sleep the first night. First night a neighbor asked me to turn down the TV, which was barely loud enough to here over all the fans running. The next day the neighbor above said our fans were to loud for her to sleep, and asked if I would mind turning them down, I said if it cooled down enough I would, she looked at me as if I was being rude! Then asked if I had extra fans on besides the ceiling fans, I told her, every fan I could find in the house.

The only frustrating thing was the unit number wasn't very easy to figure out. It would be much more helpful if that information was provided much more directly. We had to sift through a bunch of emails and just happened to come across the unit number in one of them, and it was a bit frustrating as we really didn't know if we were going to be able to find it. Other than that we absolutely loved the condo and cannot wait to return and stay again! Great unit, clean and comfortable, awesome location 15 mins to Durango to the south, 15 mins to Purgatory to the north.

Howdy Hermosa

A spacious & nicely decorated condo, about 20 minutes north of Durango. Unfortunately, during our stay there was heavy construction directly in front of our unit, with scaffolding & ladders blocking the parking garage and our balcony. Not the owner's fault.
