"Where only the lazy need apply!"

While it may sound a bit crazy, and it may be something one is not accustomed to hearing, the Lazy Days Bungalow loves lazy people. The lazier, the better!

This quaint, newly renovated, two-bedroom waterfront property is the perfect place to come and do as much of nothing as you please. It is our belief that most, if not all, vacationers would prefer to stay at a residence where they can relax and reenergize versus one that is stressful, hectic, and honestly too overwhelming. You know, the one where you cannot wait to get back home and get some actual rest.

Lazy Days specializes in rest and relaxation, as it is located on a peaceful and ever-so-calming cove on Lake LBJ. This Hill Country body of water is and always has been a vacation destination favorite for weary fun-seekers.

After arriving at Lazy Days, we strongly recommend you unpack, get settled in, and take a load off. Then grab your favorite beverage, pull up a chair in the fabulous sunroom facing the water, and start soaking up the wonderful lake ambiance. If the urge strikes you to venture outside, stroll down to the water's edge and enjoy the covered lounging area. Go ahead and throw a line in the water and try your luck at fishing. Be sure to pace yourself, as there is plenty of time to do a whole lot of nothing!

Whether it be fishing, boating, or swimming, there are lots of options for those who can muster up the strength. If you really want to go wild, you'll find plenty of lawn space for a variety of yard games. Again, please be careful, overexertion is heavily frowned upon here at Lazy Days.

The place has a lot of potential. Dock and boat area need to cleaned, nobody in our group felt like swimming, There is Hydrilla everywhere and snakey feeling everywhere.Small cottage, couch was really stained and dirty. TV DID not work correctly. Maybe batteries.I am a very happy person and rent three to 5 times a year on weekend trips, golf trips and we travel all US and Canada using this platform. The owners should invest in just a few changes and this little gem could be rented and people could enjoy with a few extra steps in cleaning.

Communication was slow and lacking. Host was not accommodating. House was not clean! The couch is covered in stains. The rug looked as if it hadn’t been clean in a long time. Refrigerator was dirty. Every dish I attempted to use was dirty. Coffee cups had coffee rings in them. We did not have WiFi the entire time. I did reach out to the host about this. No resolution. The table and chairs outside were covered in bird poop. I had seen this on a review with the host saying they would look into it. Welll, I’m here to say still covered in bird poop. I also want to mention. Anyone wanting to book this property that has a boat. DONT! The entrance into the property is very narrow and the tree is very low. Backing in and out is a nightmare and for some it would not be possible. I will never book with this host again. Worst VRBO experience I’ve encountered and I travel often.

The house is a true 'water front' property with a close, unobstructed view of the river which is just what we needed. Clean, comfy, and no issues. Cold A/C, and little extras like beach towels, bbq pit, crochet set, toiletries, and covered parking were available for use.

The house is OK and like staying at a three star hotel. An older property that was clean.The rating is due to the sectional couch that is so old and dirty looking, I did not want to sit on it. We took blankets and covered it up for the use. it was extremely hard dealing with Vicasa management. We told them we had only one wash cloth and the response was are you sure you’ve looked everywhere for a second one,. They stated they only give you two wash cloths so you can wash the linens you need. That is so weird as I gave us six towels and four hand towels. The local manager was very helpful and providing wash cloths and a much needed hairdryer. Vacasa management would not even give us a hairdryer.

There was such a strong odor of rubbing alcohol/cleaner we had to leave after one night. The outdoor furniture by the dock was covered in bird poop and spiderwebs. I do not recommend this place.

The guest bed was very wore out and sinks to the middle. Very poor. No lights out back on the dock. Very unsafe. The house was set up awesome other wise. The mast bathroom toilet needs fixed.

Low key bachelor weekend

We enjoyed hanging in the water. My best man drove a boat over from a nearby property and took us out on the lake. The house was nice, cozy. Would stay here again. Great price!!

This place needs a good cleaning

Has a nice covered dock right on a no wake cove of lake LBJ, but unfortunately the dock, chairs and table were all covered in layers of goose feces. There was no hose available, so we swept it off as well as we could, but it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. The chairs and table were unusable due to the poop that was caked on. This was really a disappointment since our main objective was spending time on the dock and in the water. Inside, the dishes al had bits of food dried on them that we had to scrub off before using any of the plates or silverware. I don’t think the dishwasher works well, or whoever put the dishes away didn’t bother to make sure they were cleaned first. There is a nice glass enclosed porch, but unfortunately the room was way too hot to enjoy because the window unit AC only blows hot air. It looks like a pretty old unit, and should be replaced. The house was fine, and we enjoyed our stay, but there were just a lot of little things that added up made it pretty unacceptable. We killed two cockroaches in the kitchen our first morning. When we checked in there were crumbs in the refrigerator, on the counters, and on the barstools. The shower light fixture looks like it’s never been cleaned and is full of dead bugs and debris. The couch has kind of a sour smell to it. Any of these things on its own would have been fine, but it just added up to be too much. I wrote all this on my Vacasa review, too, but it was cut out. Not happy with this.

Older home than I expected from the picture has all necessary conveniences/comforts. THIS WAS A GREAT VENUE. Beds were very comfortable, House was updated and very clean, we fished and sat outside most of the time. We would definitely return here and recommend to others.

awesome!

this place was amazing!! extremely clean, everything you need is provided. we were very very pleased with this place absolutely no complaints. super quiet, and a bunch of wildlife to watch and listen to. there aren’t any lights around the dock so have a flashlight ready. we spent the majority of the time feeding turtles while fishing off the dock. 10/10
