Bring your friends and family for a relaxing getaway on this quiet cove of the constant level Lake LBJ with 120 feet of waterfront. The spacious fenced yard which gently slopes to the water, has plenty of room to toss washers or a football. It includes 2 king bedrooms and 2 four-bed bunkrooms, sleeping 12 comfortably. Two large bathrooms and a powder room accommodate your whole group. The kitchen is well stocked for the most discerning chef. The game closet is full of puzzles and games for a rainy afternoon or a starry night. The firepit is the perfect way to wind down after a busy day on the water. Make s'mores, tell ghost stories or share a beverage. Creating treasured memories and spending quality time with loved ones and friends is the only thing on the agenda at Cove Cabin.

The entire large cove is a no-wake zone, so you can swim and play in the water without worry of waves or boats. It's a short trip to the main part of the lake where you will find yourself on the coveted Colorado arm of Lake LBJ. The best skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing and tubing are found on this part of the lake and you are just a splash away. Kayaks are provided for paddling around the cove and a lily pad is available for basking in the sun on the water to stay cool. Make memories with family and friends at this thoughtfully designed modern home.

The boat dock is available to bring your own watercraft and park it on the Cove Cabin dock. There are two lifts; one houses the owner's 24 foot wake boat and the other is available for the use of our guests. Guests can launch their boat or other watercraft at the Lion's Municipal Park which is a short 2 miles away.
Your furry family members are welcome to join you at Cove Cabin. The owners are big dog lovers and provide a large kennel, water and food bowls, two large dog beds, dog shampoo, dog towels and a large yard to run and have the best time of their doggy-life! They will go home tired and sleep for days!

We loved this house — its understated elegance, polished concrete floors, and cheerful bunk rooms for the kids, all opening onto a rolling green lawn that flows gently down to the boathouse on a quiet side water. Great for swimming and fishing. It’s also very pet friendly. Highly recommended.

Perfect Spot to bring your boat!

We love this location. We brought our boat and furry little friend and had a blast! Clean, beautiful house that was well maintained and had a nice yard with plenty of shade and a perfect spot in a cove right off the main channel. We will come back and enjoyed our weekend trip.

Fantastic Stay!

Our group of eight had a wonderful stay at the Cove Cabin (and great luck with the weather to view the eclipse!). The house is spacious and comfortable; very clean and modern. The view out to the lake cove is absolutely lovely. And there are plenty of seating areas for gathering, or for sitting quietly to read a book. Everything you could possibly need is at your disposal: fully-equipped kitchen (and an extra fridge in the laundry room), loads of games to play, kayaks to paddle on the water, a fire pit for s'mores. Cindy is such a responsive and attentive host; I can’t say enough good things about her and her home. We live out of state, but if we were in Texas, we would make this a regular getaway. Thank you, Cindy, for a fantastic stay!

Why they chose this property

This property is the best place to be on the lake. You are on a quiet cove off of the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ without the dangerous and loud traffic. The entire cove is a no wake zone, so you can paddle around in the kayaks and swim off the lily pad without being disturbed by boat traffic. Privacy and convenience are a rare combination on the lake. The setup is perfect for two families with 2 king bedrooms and individual bunks for the children. The kitchen is setup to feed the whole crew with lots of plates, glasses and plasticware for everyone.

What makes this property unique

The house was designed by renowned Austin architects Furman and Keil. They utilized the lot to take advantage of the view while designing the house to be functional and beautiful. Easy to maintain, this home is built for families and we welcome well mannered pets to enjoy the property for a small pet fee.
