A wonderful Bass Lake getaway!

Absolutely wonderful home to spend a summer weekend in Bass Lake - from the outdoor deck and grill area to the awesome cosy cabin-like indoors. We had a splendid weekend celebrating my 31st bday with friends and would absolutely be back if we ever head to Bass Lake again. Thank you to Vacasa for a stressless, easy process. Definitely recommending to friends and family! Cheers team!

The cabin is adorable and more spacious than it looks in photos. We gad a wonderful time, and I could have spent the whole trip outside on the deck looking at nature.

6/10 Okay

The accommodations were ok, pull out beds were really uncomfortable and not enough linens in the house. The ac/swamp cooler did not work and my family was extremely hot and in the nighttime got worse. Rear balcony hand rail is loose and felt unsafe with our kids around it. Little rickety, old wood maybe. The houses key code did not work upon arrival, so we called customer support and was placed on hold for over 45 mins. Finally we received a customer rep and the situation was corrected. The 2nd time it happened we were left outside the cabin for an hour. The cabins cleanliness was just OK as the bathrooms could use a better cleaning job. The upstairs toilet was dirty and did not even look cleaned. The house is decor was pleasant and welcoming, overall was an OK experience, wish it would have been better for the price I paid. Next time I’m in the area we’ll just look for more options.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your stay. We are truly sorry to hear that several aspects of the accommodations did not meet your expectations, especially the comfort of the pull-out beds, the limited linens, and the issues with the AC and swamp cooler. We completely understand how uncomfortable it must have been for your family, particularly during the nighttime. The safety concern you raised about the loose rear balcony handrail is very important, and we will be sure to pass this along to our local team immediately so they can address it promptly. We also apologize for the trouble you experienced with the key code and the long wait times when contacting customer support. Regarding the cleanliness of the bathrooms, we are sorry that the upstairs toilet was not up to standard. Your comments will be shared with our housekeeping team to ensure improvements are made. While we are glad to hear you found the home’s decor pleasant and welcoming, we understand that overall your experience was just okay and that you expected more for the price paid. We truly appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us improve our services and the quality of our homes. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
