We had a wonderful time staying at this property while traveling to Cooperstown for our grandson's baseball games. It took about 25 mintues to get from the house All Star Village in Oneonta. Very scenic route. Although the outside temperature was quite warm (mid to high 80's), the airconditioning units more than adequately cooled the house; and being in the mountains, it was cooler at night. The dehumidifiers helped as well. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, more than adequate pots, pans and a outdoor grill. The kids enjoyed playing outside, both in front and backyard. It was fun sitting outside by the firepit at night. So many stars in the sky! We enjoyed having the 3 separate sitting areas to watch tv or just relax and read. The kitchen was stocked with some spices, tea, coffee. Napkins, paper towels, garbage bags, soap and toilet paper were much appreciated. We've stayed in properties where not even a scrap of toilet paper was provided! We wish we could have stayed another week just to stay at the house and enjoy the tranquility of the area. We saw deer almost everday by the pond and one night upon pulling into the driveway we saw baby racoons eating berries in one of the trees. Hope to be back in two years for our next grandson's Cooperstown experience!
