This apartment near Sorrento offers an authentic Italian experience with stunning views, ideal for avoiding tourist crowds. The spacious apartment, with its kitchen and balcony, provided a breathtaking view of Capri. Luigi, our friendly and helpful host, was always accessible and spoke English very well. We enjoyed true local immersion, shopping at village markets and dining at local restaurants, and found it a great base for driving to Amalfi Coast beaches and towns. However, a small car is recommended due to the 25-minute drive from Sorrento, limited public transport, and a very narrow alley to the house. This rental may not suit those seeking complete privacy, as there are two units on the first floor and Luigi lives on the second; however, this wasn't an issue for us. Overall, it's ideal for travelers seeking authentic local life, amazing views, and a friendly host, especially with a car, as the charm and views easily outweigh minor access challenges.

Top Unterkunft mit Ausblick auf Capri und Ischia vom Balkon inmitten von Olivenbäumen. Hier kann man tolle Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Für den Pool war es im Oktober etwas zu kalt. Luigi ist der perfekte Gastgeber, schon vor Antritt der Reise gab es einen netten WhatsApp-Kontakt auf englisch. Wir hatten einen Treffpunkt ausgemacht, von dem er uns zur Unterkunft begleitete, die etwas schwer zu finden ist. Die letzten 150 Meter empfiehlt sich nur mit einem Kleinwagen, da sie nur 1,70 Meter breit ist. Sorrent kann man bergab durch eine kleine Wanderung erreichen, sollte allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, zurück - bergauf- dann besser mit dem preisgünstigen Linienbus, hält in ca 800 Meter Entfernung.Zur Begrüßung schenkte und Luigi eine Flasche selbgemachten Weins und zum Abschied eine Flasche leckeres selbstgepresstes Olivenöl aus eigenem Anbau. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Liebe GrüßeRainer & Martina
