Ledge View Lodge is a four season vacation home, nestled in the pristine Adirondack Mountains in a private and quiet residential area known as the Summit, boasting of spectacular views of the lakes and mountains. The home is decorated in Adirondack charm with maximum comfort in mind. The rustic feel of the Adirondacks with the convenience and pleasures of living in a well-furnished home.
With spectacular vistas of the lake and mountains as the back drop and the Adirondack forest on its border, this is the perfect home for enjoying all the beauty the Adirondacks has to offer. The area abounds with wildlife that includes deer, bear, moose, geese, mallards, loons, partridge, bald eagles, hawks, owls, raccoons and more. Many of which are seen right from the property.
The 3 bedroom - split floor plan separates the master bedroom suite with its incredible views from the 2 guest bedrooms and full bath. All bedrooms are furnished with queen log beds, flat screen TVs with Spectrum service, carpeting, plenty of closet space and decorated in rustic style. The sleeping arrangements accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the features expected of an ADK 5Star home. The open floor plan keeps everyone engaged in the laughter and conversation of a wonderful vacation.
Spring, summer and fall bring some of the best weather in the Northeast; warm sunny days on the public beaches and cool Adirondack Mountain nights filled with lake breezes, bright stars and the sounds of loons calling from the lake all of which are enjoyed from the fire pit or large deck complete with grilling area and Adirondack chairs.
Winter brings fun and excitement with McCauley Mountain skiing, outdoor activities and events. Ledge View Lodge provides access from our driveway to the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails of the area known as the ‘snowmobile capital of the east’. The river rock gas fireplace provides the warmth and cozy atmosphere throughout the great room for all to enjoy.

Beautiful cabin with all amenities needed for the Adirondack experience. Gorgeous deck view and fire pit area. Comfortable sleeping areas Had a wonderful time despite the rain, which is always Mother Nature's call and out of our control.

Perfect Vacation

The house and view of First Lake was beautiful. The owner was great to work with. He has the house equipped with everything you might need. The deck and fire pit were a huge hit with our family. We saw deer, turkeys and an owl all on the property. Perfect retreat for the week.

The view out the front huge windows of First Lake is absolutely breathtaking and the decor of the house is perfectly suited to the Adirondacks—so many wonderful touches to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The deck is huge and the fire pit was fun to use in the evening. Louis was an extremely conscientious host and made sure to contact us to see if we had any questions or concerns. This VBRO vacation home is highly recommended!!!

Ledge View Lodge

For the second year we had another great 2-week stay at Ledge View Lodge. Mr. Labella is a great host and continues to improve the property. We were the first guests to use the brand new 5-burner grille. You cannot beat the quiet location and view from the Palisades Ridge and we are just a couple miles from the village with shopping and restaurants when we want more excitement. We will be back again next year if not sooner!

2020 Christmas vacation

Louis cabin was all that we expected and what we saw on the VRBO web site. We booked the cabin for 1 week from 12.20.2020 to 12.27.2020 to spend Christmas, my wife, 11 year old son, and 2 1/2 year old daughter. Through out the booking process my communication with Louis was great and once you book he will call you and start direct communication with voice cell or text. The cabin has 3 rooms, very spacious, al of them have TV's, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and all complete set of glasses and plates. The stove is gas which is great, Louis has 3 big gas tanks on the property so heating is not a problem, the chimney is gas and works great, the downstairs has an old billiards table to shoot some pool on your down time. The view is great from the living room and we got a lot of snow as there was a big winter storm prior to us getting there and we got snow while we were there. The kids were able to go sledding, I had some drinks out side by the fire pit, Louis keeps a lot of wood , he will tell you the secret spot were the wood is. You will need a all wheel drive car, the roads are great and the road leading to the cabin the snow plow passes through there. One small thing that may be burdensome is that due to bears and animals you have to go drop off the garbage at the transfer station in town which is about 15 to 20 minutes away, not hard to find Louis provides all directions. Wifi was great, TV's have cable to watch late night movies, or bring HDMI and you can watch your own movies from your cable provider or watch Netflix, juts log in to your account. OVER ALL GREAT TIME WILL BE BACK WIFE LOVED IT KIDS LOVED IT ALL HAPPY HOPE TO BE BACK ALEJANDRO

Great view, cozy home and great location

Property is right off the main drag past the town, we enjoyed the layout of the house, the beautiful view and fires at night listening to the loons and coyotes. The home had everything we needed and was well kept. The owner takes pride in his property and keeps it up. We will be back!

Christmas & NYE Vacation in Old Forge!

No words to express how blessed we felt to have spent Christmas into the New Year at the Ledgeview Lodge. The most perfect winter break vacation for 2 parents with their 3 boys. The home was perfect and every detail gone unnoticed. The Christmas decorations and lights added so much joy to our holiday away from home. Thank you to our host Louis for being so attentive and accommodating. The home is perfectly situated on top of a snowy mountain overlooking the most perfect picturesque views of the lake. The boys built fires in the outdoor fire pit with their father and a the very first snowman on the property. Located minutes from town and ski mountain, we were full entertained the entire stay. We can't say enough about our experience and look forward to coming back again.

Million Dollar View!

Myself, husband and friends really enjoyed our stay at Ledge-view Lodge. The views from the property are breathtaking, we enjoyed eating and relaxing out on the deck almost everyday. The property although rocky is landscapes very nicely, and the fire pit area itself also has a view of the Fulton Chain. The owner provided a generous amount of firewood for our use. The inside of the Lodge is clean, updated and decorated charmingly. The owners were quick to respond to questions if and when we had them. There is a ton to do in the area, we visited the associated beach, rented boats, kayaked and even did a day trip up to Lake Placid. Please don’t hesitate to book this property!

Fabulous House with Incredible Views

We had the immense privilege of being able to stay at Ledge View Lodge for a week in August. This well-appointed home has everything you need for a relaxing vacation! Highly recommend enjoying your morning coffee on the deck overlooking First Lake and then building a fire for cocktail hour and beyond for some incredible star-gazing! We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful house with spectacular views!

We spent a week there in July with our 2 kids and had a great time. Lots of fun activities to do in the area and the house is really nice. Surrounded by trees but with a great view of the lake from almost every room. Big spacious living room, big deck, fire pit, just a lovely place. And a very friendly host! I highly recommend it!
