'Sittin' in your wonderful barn,
or listening to you spin a yarn,
It was fate that we found your happy place:)
To 'checkout' momentarily from the rat race.
We were so grateful to stay & rest our bones,
We will be back for fall foliage &

Amazing stay all round
I stayed a month at the Zen Farmhouse and it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful location, extremely comfortable room, and a very kind and generous landlady in Diane. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Catskills area, whether to get some work done or else just to relax in the the beautiful surroundings. I can't wait to return.
And you were the BEST! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to share the Zen Farmhouse for a month. It was so much fun sharing great food and stories, while you hunkered down on your "project". Hope you make Zen your Catskill retreat home base!
Diana is a most accommodating, welcoming hostess. From her delicious coffee to the most comfortable bed and calming environment, she has thought of everything. The Zen Farmhouse is a great place to stay for exploring the Catskills. Diana is very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great hikes, restaurants and other things to do.
I would highly recommend her place if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, quiet reprieve. Thank you for everything Diana.
Cozy little stay
Thank you for a very welcoming stay! It was just what you'd expect from the description. Diane was a very gracious hostess, and gave us pointers of where to explore. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the area, looking for a quiet place to rest up after their adventures.
Peaceful and lovely
What a great getaway spot! We stayed the weekend so that we could enjoy a concert at Bethel Woods. Our biggest regret was not adding another night. Diane is a wonderful host with a wealth of knowledge on what to do and where to go in the area. Her home is in a beautiful, quiet location. Her relaxed style truly helped us feel welcome and we enjoyed several delighful conversations over coffee. The house itself is light, comfortable and clean. We definately plan to return so that we can just linger awhile longer and relax. It's that kind of place... Thank you Diane!
Well, thank you so much for the very kind and beautifully written review! You are the kind of guests that I love meeting, making hosting so much fun.
We enjoyed the atmosphere of the farmhouse and the grounds were beautiful. Diane did a great job letting us know about restaurants and other activities in the area. We especially enjoyed the Bethel Woods Center for Arts!
A slice of perfection for us
This home was wonderful and it met and exceeded our expectations. Not being familiar with the area we felt like we hit the jackpot in finding a place to call home for a few days (versus a hotel). It is clean and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. Diane could not be a more gracious hostess and she is very knowledgeable of the area. We would most definitely return to this home.
Thank you so much for your delightful description and kind words, you were the best! Hope we can make this make this a habit!
