We are thankful that the owners where concerned enough about our vacation pleasure that they where flexible in the accommodations. Nice to be treated well and show of concern.
Hook, Wine and Sinker was very comfortable, clean and roomy.
Very nice property and location. Hosts were very accommodating and provided information about Swansboro and the area.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hook, Wine and Sinker. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The owners have made great efforts to make it so comfortable and inviting. The views were spectacular and being able to bring our boat and dock it right outside was so convenient. Can’t wait to come back.
Jamie and Algah Bostic
Thank you Jamie and Algah. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Having a boat right at your doorstep is a fantastic thing because any day on the water is a good day!! It was a pleasure to host you both and we certainly hope that you will be able to return again.
Jack and Deb
We stayed at this property for 3 nights and loved it. Debbie and Jack were awesome and very accommodating and welcoming. I didn't initially think we would like the 3 floor walk up, but it was not an issue at all, as an elevator hauled up our stuff. The stairs are exterior, and we loved all of the breezy, water views that followed our every step. The property was spotless, very very well appointed, high quality. Everything was top notch......from the dishes to the bedding, the beautiful floors, comfortable furniture. The layout is great too. We also loved how it is tucked in the historical district of Swansboro...it was wonderful to step outside of our quiet nest and be among such great shops, bars and restaurants. We loved this place.....5 stars indeed!
Beautiful, well-appointed home with Southern charm and hospitality
This was such a fantastic home, provided with such attention and care. There are so many amenities, too many to mention. The hosts are both so gracious and accommodating with their gorgeous apartment...and it is a showstopper. Everything, and I mean everything is provided for the comfort of the guests, from coffee (which was really fantastic) to a bottle of wine, plus all linens, abundant towels, comfy beds, puzzles, books, an amazing kitchen...I could go on and on. They do a wine tasting on Fridays and have live music Saturdays...which is really nice. The shop also has great ice cream and there’s a sweet quilt shop on the first floor. The views from the apartment are fabulous and many spaces are available in the home for enjoying a vacation on the water. We ran out of time before we could paddleboard (plus it was very windy) but the stay was simply perfection. This apartment is definitely a true gem, and has something for everyone. Thank you!!!!
Best kept secret on the Crystal Coast!
Title says it all... and why you ask? Location, location, location. Sits at the top of the wine & ice cream store (love the combo) walking distance to ALL the best food & drink stops in town, was able to sit out on the porch and reap the bennies of the neighboring watering holes out door band and centrally located between J-ville & Camp L and Morehead City. Loved the look of the customers as we walked in and out like we "owned" the place... oh ya did I mention the water access right in front/back... kayak's & paddleboards available for use... and Debbie & Jack were extremely friendly & helpful. We'll be back!!
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Hook, Wine & Sinker. It sure sounds like you took advantage of all that the Boro has to offer. We hope to see you back again for another stay in our little slice of heaven!!
