Laura was amazing and responsive. The condo was everything we hoped for and more with lots of great little touches. It had a wonderful feel and we were able to relax right away. She even left roses and champagne for our wedding anniversary. The location was amazing with great food and drink spots a block away and a quick walk to the French Quarter too. Truly enjoyed everything about our stay.

Trip was cancelled but Laura Downie was wonderful

Unfortunately, our reservation for VRBO unit 559405 during the French Quarter Festival 2017 was cancelled. Storms over Atlanta prevented our flight. However Laura Downie was very gracious and helpful to us with information on transportation, dining, parking, shopping . When we had to cancel the trip she offered to help us to make our claim for the trip cancellation insurance. Although we are still sad about missing our vacation, Ms Downie was sympathetic to our plight and gave a very good impression of New Orleans and VRBO owners.

Rising Sun

My wife and i stayed here for a week and it was fabulous. I had a meeting at a nearby hotel (2 blocks away), which was very convenient. The condo was very comfortable w/ a spacious, well-equiped kitchen, large living room, great bed and enormous bathroom. The location is easy walking distance to Rouse's market (2 blocks), Stumptown coffee (1/2 block) and the Quarter (about 8 blocks). We've bookmarked this VRBO and will book again next time we're in NOLA. BTW, Laura was so helpful and made us feel at home.

Cozy, Chic

Myself and girlfriend were looking for a place to travel for New Years and New Orleans only seemed fitting since neither of us had ever been. We began the search for places to stay and everyone suggested staying near or in the French Quarter. After searching on VRBO and reading several reviews, this place seemed perfect for what we were looking for. Not only was it near the French Quarter, walking distance, but it was far enough away from all of the late night noise. There were several, nice restaurants, within walking distance in the Central Business District. And it was extremely convenient to walk around the corner to grocery store, Rouses, to get snacks, water, etc. Grocery store is very nice and open until midnight.

The condo itself was very clean and can easily accommodate 2-4 people. The architecture is also one to behold with exposed brick, ceiling to floor windows with a balcony. It definitely gives the feel of the culture that surrounds New Orleans. The bathroom is large and spacious.

Aside from great location and beautiful place, the owner Laura was extremely accommodating, always available via text message for any questions and she allowed us to stay past our check out time since we had an evening flight.

We had such a great time in New Orleans and there is so much to see and do in this wonderful city. But not sure we will look for other places to stay when we come back to visit because this place was perfect!
