lovely spot in CBD

This is a lovely spot located in the CBD with Stumptown just across the street for morning coffee. The condo is well appointed and beautiful. It is a block from the streetcar and walking distance to a large grocery, and several excellent restaurants. It does have steep stairs. It has everything for a great stay - highly recommend.

Fantastic, despite hurricane Hervey fears

Visited New Orleans on business during the week that Harveys path was unknown. I had a lot of anxiety about the trip. Laura stayed in constant contact with me before my arrival, and called as soon as I walked into the gate at the property. She was so helpful and really helped to ease my fears. The property is at or slightly above sea level, and even with spurts of downpours we never saw flooding.

The property is beautiful, and when I was not at work was a wonderful place to stay. It was close to everything I needed or wanted to get to - the Convention Center, shopping and local hot spots to listen to great music.

I have to say that I have never stayed at a Homeaway that had such an attentive home owner. She is extremely responsive and will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to NOLA.

The property was awesome, if you have not been to New Orleans this is an awesome place to stay. Convenient, close to everything but out of the way enough to have privacy.

Great location, clean & quiet

Laura was very helpful & the property was kept in great condition. It's in a perfect area being less than 10 mins walk away from Bourbon & Canal street. Definitely would stay there again.

Perfect!

Laura was amazing and responsive. The condo was everything we hoped for and more with lots of great little touches. It had a wonderful feel and we were able to relax right away. She even left roses and champagne for our wedding anniversary. The location was amazing with great food and drink spots a block away and a quick walk to the French Quarter too. Truly enjoyed everything about our stay.

Trip was cancelled but Laura Downie was wonderful

Unfortunately, our reservation for VRBO unit 559405 during the French Quarter Festival 2017 was cancelled. Storms over Atlanta prevented our flight. However Laura Downie was very gracious and helpful to us with information on transportation, dining, parking, shopping . When we had to cancel the trip she offered to help us to make our claim for the trip cancellation insurance. Although we are still sad about missing our vacation, Ms Downie was sympathetic to our plight and gave a very good impression of New Orleans and VRBO owners.
