Why Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals chose Tilghman Island
Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals treats your vacation as an important investment. We are professionals. Managing vacation rentals is all we do! We oversee every facet of the home and this property has complied with and/or exceeded our firm's most stringent amenity guidelines. Nevertheless, things go wrong and even the most diligent preventative care can't prevent the unexpected. Consider what will happen if something goes wrong during your stay? ESVR has an extensive and loyal vendor network and can address most problems swiftly. The house is not your whole vacation. You've selected the perfect property—now what? Do you just want to arrive to a key under the doormat, or have a guest services department that can help you plan your vacation. ESVR views your vacation as an important investment in happiness – we are here for our clients 24/7!
What makes this Cottage unique

And because we are the largest vacation rental firm in the area, we can offer you discounts on everything from ice cream to golf! We offer value, not the lowest price. When comparing the cost of an ESVR home, be sure you are comparing apples to apples. almost perfect getaway...
very nice location on the water.Lot quite small so little room to move and not much privacy if adjoining houses are occupied..they were not.Virtually no TV channels except a dozen locals.no majors.. CNN NBC ESPN, FOX..except local..ads say cable and satellite..misleading. House neat and clean and tasteful.Well supplied with necessaries but snug for four adults.Poor support from service to solve a couple of problems..non returned calls and delayed response. Two days to resolve small issues.so.. almost....
Beautiful little house and gardens with outstanding view of Choptank River from bay window of our living room. Perfectly appointed and private location. Ideal for nature lovers. Close to other towns in area if you want to explore.
Great time. Perfect location.
Peaceful, beautiful, dog-friendly. absolutely lovely in every way.
Most relaxed we've been in years!
The cottage was the perfect place for my husband and I to rediscover what downtime really is. (stayed 9/30-10/5/18) The sunrises were beautiful and mornings on the dock with a coffee was the perfect start to the day! The water was just the right temperature and sunning on the dock was just serene, saw a school of little rays swim by and was mesmerized by the bald eagle and other birds that live on the island. (Watched the bald eagle fly right across the back lawn, was beautiful!) Cottage had everything we needed for cooking, furniture was comfortable, view out the back windows was amazing. General store in town had anything you might have forgotten, and shopping/restaurants are close by if you want to get out (St. Michaels, Easton, etc.). Bring your camera, a good book, and disconnect! This wonderful place reminded us that peace and quiet still exists! Can't wait to come back!
Superb in every way. We cannot wait to get back next summer!
Very peaceful and relaxing. The sunrises were incomparable. Grilling, swimming in the Bay right off the deck, playing soccer on the fields behind the cabin, enjoying the breeze and the every-changing sights and sounds...
The cabin is cozy yet very comfortable for four people.
Tilghman Island is about 3 miles long and is separated from the mainland by Knapps Narrows. A drawbridge connects the two and is easily accessible. Tilghman is about 11 miles west of St. Michaels, so it is still within an easy day trip reach for the more touristy aspects of MD's Eastern Shore, but for those looking for that true 'away from it all' feeling in an authentic, unspoiled environment, look no further than Tilghman Island. Known for seafood, hospitality and boating and fishing, the island is also home to the only commercial sailing fleet in North America, the Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks. Once over a hundred in number, the nine remaining Skipjacks are moored on Tilghman Island in Dogwood Harbor.
