A Rustic Riverfront Cabin with 1Br, 1 Ba ~ Perfect for a romantic getaway ~
The Sequoia River Cabin is nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, in a quaint hamlet known as Three Rivers, Gateway to the Sequoias. We are just 5 minutes to the Ash Mountain entrance of Sequoia National Park.
Our cute and cozy cabin has a well-equipped kitchen and a propane BBQ off the back deck. There is a queen-size bed in the step-up (2 steps) sleeping area, a queen-size sofa bed and a 7-foot window seat / reading nook. The cabin is ideal for a couple. The rear deck is just steps away from the Main Fork of the Kaweah River. Please check out sequoiarivercabin.com for more pictures.
We are conveniently located on Sierra Drive, the main road through town, with the main fork of the Kaweah River just steps from your back door. The private river setting allows for a true romantic getaway. There is a fire pit by the river to enjoy an evening fire and we do supply firewood.
***If the dates you want are not available, ask us about our new luxury yurt / roundhouse. It sleeps two and is located in Three Rivers with spectacular mountain views***
While we do welcome your pet, please note that dogs are not allowed on any trails in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks and our property is not completely fenced.
Relax in the Jacuzzi tub, listen to the sounds of the river and marvel at the Blue Heron and various duck species that call the river home. You just might see some deer at the river's edge.
If you enjoy fishing, you can fish in the river just steps from the back deck.
In the evening, relax in the lounge chairs by the river and be mesmerized by the spectacular star-studded night sky.
In the springtime, you can sit on the deck and catch a glimpse of the whitewater rafters and kayakers as they make their way down the river.
We offer plush towels, quality linens and a down comforter inside an organic cotton duvet. We also provide spa-quality eco-friendly bath amenities for our guests. Satellite TV, Netflix and WiFi are available as well.
This historic cabin was originally built as a fishing retreat decades ago and has evolved a number of times since then. In the '70s it was Little Rainbow, the workshop of our local silversmith. After that it became a private residence, and later a trendy coffee house named The Cabin. The Cabin later became The Buckaroo, also a coffee house/burger joint.

About Richard and Jeanie Smith
After coming to beautiful Three Rivers for years whitewater rafting, we decided it was time to leave the hectic life of the big city and enjoy a more relaxed and peaceful way of life surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Richard and Jeanie Smith purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Richard and Jeanie Smith chose Three Rivers

Can't wait to go back!!
My boyfriend and I stayed at this amazing river cabin this past weekend. I could not speak highly enough about this place. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is in a great location, extremely clean, beautifully furnished, and had amenities not expected from a vacation rental. Home away from home would definitely describe this place. Moreover, the owner of the cabin, Jeanie greeted us with a jar of fresh squeezed orange juice, was super helpful and very accommodating. All around a wonderful experience. As soon as we arrived back home, we booked it again for the summer and plan on bringing our girls.
Great Location and Privacy
The cabin is very clean and has everything you could need , very private and we would definitely stay again.
Amazing location, private and peaceful
Very relaxing river cabin with everything you could want for indoor/outdoor activities. We decided to spend a whole day enjoying the outdoor tub, listening to the river and making smores around the firepit. Excellent hosts, comfortable bed and the best window seat imaginable. Super clean with tasteful decor and a cooks kitchen! Thanks for an amazing 3 days.
Beautiful spot in Three Rivers
Had a wonderful stay here a couple of weeks ago. The place is in a great location and the home was as well stocked as any VRBO I have stayed in.
Amazing cabin, ideal for two people
Perfect size for 2 people. Such a cozy cabin. The living room and fireplace are perfect. Amazing jacuzzi! Fully set up for any kind of cooking and barbecuing. All amenities and utensils you could possibly need! Great easily accessible location. Huge yard with beautiful views. Will definitely be staying here again!
Great place for us and our dogs!
A very well kept cabin with a wonderfully private backyard fronting the river. We went looking for adventure in the area and returned to the cabin finding it better to play right at home. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable even with our three dogs. Looking forward to booking in the summer when we can play in the water ourselves.
Just minutes away from the Ash Mountain entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks located on the Main Fork of the Kaweah River in the quaint little town of Three Rivers. A mere 35 minutes from Visalia and Highway 99 in California's San Joaquin Valley. The pleasant scenic drive from Visalia to Three Rivers includes beautiful views of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, farms and ranches and the intoxicating fragrance of Orange and Lemon Groves just before arriving at Lake Kaweah on the way to Three Rivers.
