About Jeanne Lybecker
I live in Beaverton, which is just west of Portland. At the age of 66, I am semi-retired, so the management of my two Sea Gypsy units is my top priority. I love to garden, ride my 3 wheel bike and do water aerobics. I grew up in Seattle and graduated from U of W. I was a teacher at Portland Public Schools for many years and then purchased a children's bookstore, the Book Barn, located in Beaverton.
Jeanne Lybecker purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Jeanne Lybecker chose Lincoln City
I bought my first Sea Gypsy condo in Dec of 2011. It is a studio and on the 1st floor, # 101. So, I wanted my second condo, to be on the 2nd floor and have a bedroom. As I looked at the condos that were for sale, I walked into #226 and felt right at home. I loved it's decor with the emphasis on shells. I didn't want to change it in the slightest, so I knew instantly it was the unit I wanted to purchase.

Amazing view and a condo with everything you could possibly need!
Needs updating but great value and even better view
Overall, this is a great value and a relaxing place to hear and see the surf. Needs to be updated with some fixes but nothing that keeps me away. We will keep this in mind when we are heading back to the coast. Thanks for the relaxing, last minute, get-a-way.
This was super cozy way to stay at the beach..
This place had everything we needed. And even a few things we forgot at home.. We will definitely stay again...
Love having a full kitchen
I love that this property is centrally located in Lincoln City, has great ocean views, and has a full bedroom, in the back, so it's quiet. My husband and I also really love to cook while we're on vacation so it was great to have a full kitchen. Thankfully we brought our large cast iron pan as there was no frying pan available.
The good parts: all those said above, the bed was VERY comfortable, we had mostly what we needed in the kitchen and were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra roll of paper towels and TP.
The bad parts: the futon sofa is very uncomfortable so not very conducive to relaxing. The only remote that worked was to pause or play the DVD player, had to work volume from the TV itself. Several lamps had dead bulbs and I couldn't figure out the overhead light in the back bedroom. Our memo mentioned condiment packages in the fridge, which were were counting on, but nothing was there (not a big deal, really). Large crack both bathroom ceilings.
Overall, perfectly acceptable stay and primarily enjoyed the space for the ocean view and the full kitchen.
Amazing Oceanfront View!
We really enjoyed our stay in Jeannes unit. It was very clean and included everything we could need for our trip to the beach. The only reason I did not give all 5 stars was the futon couch in the living room was uncomfortable and hard to sit on, otherwise it is an amazing, and affordable unit!
The condo was nicely furnished, clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of dishes and cookware.
The pool was great! My son loved it, and it was nice to just walk a few steps to the beach. We will definitely stay here again!
