Are you looking for a secluded place to spend some quality time with loved ones? Well we have the place for you! Our cabin sits back a long lane, on 85 acres of land. Fully equipped with everything that you will need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

4 bedrooms and 3 baths, truly a luxury experience. First floor boasts kitchen with granite countertops, 8 person dining table and an entire wall of windows overlooking a gorgeous wooded ravine. You can't help but relax in the hot tub as you enjoy the scenery. Walk out lower is sure to entertain all ages of guests and includes a bar witbh refrigerator and game machine, pool table, dart board and big screen TV with video library. We have a Ring doorbell to protect the property when vacant.

We are located just a short, 24 mile drive from Old Man's Cave, 16 miles from Lake Logan, and 24 miles from the Hocking Hills State Park. Be amazed at the beautiful scenery and waterfalls.

Enjoy the Hocking Hills Winery at only 15 miles away and Hocking Hills Moonshine Distillery at 13 miles away.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing stay at our 'home away from home' or you are interested in the several activities near by, you will be sure to enjoy yourself.

Great for big groups

The place was great for a big group of 10 on an annual guys trip. The kitchen, grill, and griddle had everything we needed for cooking for lots of people. There were big tables for games and meals. The deck, fire pit, and hot tub were frequent gathering places to hang out and make memories. The host was also super responsive to everything we needed.

Ohio Experience

Great privacy and amenities . Hot tub, grills, short drive to town. Bedrooms 2,3,4 are small but useable. Bedroom 4 not met for adults and has too many bunk beds making it difficult. Not sure that everyone would appreciate all of the animal heads hanging throughout the cabin. Game room was a benefit.

We enjoyed family time at the request of my 93-year-old father-in-law and 91-year-old mother-in-law for everybody to get together. We had a great time just relaxing, cooking, playing in the yard, hot tub one night, and shopping at Rocky Outlet.

Great cabin for a group

My friends and I have stayed here several times and always had a great time. The beds are comfortable, the main room is spacious, and the amenities - pool table and hot tub in particular - are high quality. Communication and service has always been good. The internet can be a bit slow but otherwise all around excellent property and host.

Amazing place, amazing stay

This is a beautiful cabin with a very kind, helpful host. It was great to have 10+ guests, have a bonfire outside, with many areas to all spend time together. Very serene location. There are hilly, winding roads not well-lit at night, so keep that in mind! Absolutely amazing stay.

Cabin was great and amenities were as described. Proximity to towns was nice and we enjoyed golf courses that were located very close to the cabin.

Unclean and maintenance issues

Overall is stated above. Grills needed to be cleaned before use. All darts were broken so dart board was unusable. Two of the sliding glass doors needed very dirty tracks cleaned so that they could open and close. Porch floor was filthy. This was our 8th year renting a lodge and this was by far the worse. We won’t be back to this one.

Great log cabin

The house has everything needed to host a large group! We played games out on the side field and hung out under the deck at night. Everything was super clean. The only bummer was that we found mice in the grill so we ended up broiling burgers inside for dinner. Other than that, it was a great trip.

The good, the bad, and the buggy

Slim pickings for our family of 5 spring trip. The cabin seemed pricey for area, but looked beautiful in pics. The good: Counters, bathrooms and most floors appeared clean. Floors were real wood, which I appreciate. Appliances worked well. Mattresses were neither too firm nor too soft. A huge thing for me is good ac and the guest being able to operate it to their comfort level. While a house of that size could use dual units, it was around 80 while we were there and it mostly held up well. We had fun with the electronic dart board. There were plenty of games, but through likely no fault of owner and more so previous guests, several game pieces were missing. I don't really watch TV on vacation, but when TVs were on, they seemed to work well. I was able to get cell coverage with Tmobile inside, but not outside the cabin. The Internet was not as slow as I thought it would be based on previous reviews. We liked the signs with the Christian sayings throughout area near cabin. Kids got to see Amish people and their buggy for first time. I saw deer the first morning. Area felt safe. The bad and the (other) buggy: The stink bug problem upstairs in terms of dead ones on the carpet and alive ones is an issue the owner needs to more adequately address. I reviewed the contract again before calling and saw that it implicitly states there are bugs in the woods, no credit would be given for bugs, so I felt there was no point in calling. Further, even if I did call, fumigating it and exposing us and more so, our kids to chemicals would not be an acceptable remedy. We just rearranged and made do. I did give Cindy feedback on this later and she did give a credit without me asking, which I appreciate. Hopefully, our situation was a random one and they'll have it under better control for future guests. The game machine Cindy said was broken after I asked if they all worked, was not there nor was it replaced with something else even though she said she planned to have it fixed before our arrival. Things like that should be figured into pricing. Bees were abundant, so we did not use hot tub. No headboard on master bed. Faulty bedroom fan. Grill dirty so didn't use. Exterior holes should be filled. Cold, leather couch instead of soft one in pics. No full/new roll of paper towels. 40 minutes from Hocking Hills. We've rented many houses, mostly mountain cabins, so we've seen a lot, and all things considered, still believe this cabin deserves near 4 stars.
