About Stan Strickland
From Central Arkansas but at the lake as much as possible!
Stan Strickland purchased this House in 2013
Why Stan Strickland chose Piney
Bought the house next door in 2006, and when this one came up for sale we knew what a great area we had found -- luckily we were able to buy it! It's a great lake house with beautiful views of Lake Hamilton. We're constantly working to improve the house and make it more comfortable for guests.
What makes this House unique
This is a great two-family house with a kitchen and kitchenette downstairs. Beautiful views of the lake with large decks, great location convenient to town and grocery stores, and comfortable beds with a cozy feel make this a great place to enjoy the lake! On top of this, we have a party barge available for rent too, at half the price of local marinas.

We really enjoyed the view at this home! It was a little chilly most days so we didn't sit outside much but it was still gorgeous! Everything we needed was there & we were all able to relax. The only issue we had was the stairs to the downstairs apartment/bedroom were a little steep so my mother-in-law was not able to see it, but she still enjoyed our stay. Nice place for a family or even a few couples to enjoy!
Great place for a guys weekend at the Races!
Stans place was perfect for a guys weekend at the races. Plenty of room to sleep for the group plus a great deck to grill, drink and tell lies to each other. The only complaint by the group was the kitchen knives were dull. We will definitely book this for next year (and bring our own knives).
Awesome lake hous3
What a great place Stan has made. Perfect for our family of 4. Our boys fished and played on the rope swing all week. They loved their own apartment downstairs. The kitchen was stocked with all the right dishes and utensils. Beds were very comfortable and the house was so homey. We will be back in the summer.
Wonderful Quiet location in December
We enjoyed our stay here and appreciate the owner allowing pets. The house is well furnished and had lots of utensils, plates, pots, and pans. We rented this house so my sisters and our family could get together for Christmas. We enjoyed our stay here.
wonderful views, convenient location
Very nice house, plenty of room. Right along the lake with wonderful views. We were there in the winter so we didn't go swimming, but the location is very convenient to hot springs national park. Can also easily drive to downtown little rock and out west through the Oachita Mountains. Very beautiful location
Comfortable, peaceful, relaxing.
House is well stocked and very comfortable. We were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner without having to pack and move our whole kitchen. The deck is a great place for gathering and enjoying coffee or meals. A great getaway to unwind and realx. Stan was wonderful to work with, very responsive and accommodating. Will return in the future.
