Unit 1170 may be the nicest one bedroom two bath unit at the Whaler as this unit was completely and meticulously remodeled and professionally decorated in 2015. And, being on the 11th floor, you get fantastic Panoramic 180° views of the Pacific Ocean, the Island of Molalai, BlackRock cove, the courtyard and the pool area. This unit sleeps up to five (5) adults.

Unit 1170 Amenities include chefs delight gourmet kitchen (with all the amenities), large stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker, California king bed in the master suite (with Egyptian Cotton 650 thread count sheets). In the living area is a super comfortable full sectional sofa sleeper PLUS a foldout Murphy bed (both with the highest quality of bed linens). Opposite the sectional sofa will be a brand-new 60 inch LED high-definition television and DVD/Blu-ray player for viewing movies or your favorite sporting events. Additionally, there will be an executive desk for those working vacations. Free cable TV and high-speed Internet in room.

The unit is VERY competitively priced from $228-$499 ($499 for Christmas season) per night ($228 rate is for last minute bookings less than 30 days out with a minimum stay of 10 nights - see rate schedule below).

All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. There is a brand new washer/ dryer located in the master suite. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional charge. There is a $165 check out cleaning fee for up to 2 guests, $195 for 3-4 and $225 for 5+ guests. $195 flat cleaning fee for "book it now" bookings.

The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. Whalers Village has over 100 shops and restaurants for eating or just to browse through, so you and the family never have to jump in the car to go eat or shop....or drive home after dinner. Kaanapali Beach has been distinguished as being named 'Best Beach in the USA' year after year by resort critics.

Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving, golf, tennis, scuba diving, fine dining, hiking, jogging and world class shops all only steps away from your fully equipped 'plush' condominium. Other amenities include fitness and business centers, tennis courts, swimming pool & hot tub (jacuzzi), on-site spa & salon plus barbecue and picnic areas. Hawaiian tax ID # W19939691-01.

To reserve, a 25% Reservation deposit is required, balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. If there are THREE (3) OR MORE guests staying in the unit or if there are any infants or children under the age of 18 there may be a $300 damage deposit that would be refundable within 14 days of departure upon satisfactory inspection of condo by the maid.

Fantastic Condo with an even better location!

We couldn't have asked for better accommodations than this condo for our vacation. We had the pleasure of spending 9 nights in this perfectly appointed condo for our family. Everything was perfect, clean and very comfortable. The entire staff on the property was friendly and very helpful. The location was another major selling point, and the views were certainly ones to remember. We will certainly be staying here again in the future!

2 Thumbs way up!!!!!

I have visited Maui at least a dozen times in the past, usually staying at some of the nicest resorts, and I must say, this has been my favorite experience ever.

Although the pictures are great of the condo , in person the space is even more cozy and beautiful .

The layout is wonderful and the kitchen amenities are everything a foodie could ask for!

We enjoyed many sunsets from the balcony spotting several breath taking rainbows ( even 1 double one)

The master bedroom was amazing, and I really enjoyed the over sized bathtub.

And lastly, and certainly not least, the gym facility on property was top notch , and had everything and more one could ever ask for to get a great workout!

Jim, is a delightful, accommodating , and easy going host, who you can tell from the moment you speak with him, just wants to create ease around your entire vacation experience.

I loved this place so much, I've already rebooked for January!

Epic!

A family of four was very comfortable in this one bedroom home away from home. Better master bed than at home and the Murphy bed was very comfortable for our teenage son. The pull out couch was a little uncomfortable according to our 23 old daughter, but was manageable. One suggestion would be to provide more dinner plates rather than just five because we were finding we needed to do the dishes after every meal. Jim was very responsive to the questions we had, so yes, we plan to use his condos again!

THE BEST CONDO AT THE WHALER!

I've stayed at the Whaler numerous times and this unit was by far the nicest! Close to everything and within walking distance - swimming, shopping, restaurants and even an ABC store! Great ocean views and very relaxing. All the pool/beach toys were already there waiting for us to use. Beautiful ocean view and nice large lanai. By the way, the little chocolate candies were an extra special treat! Planning our next trip and will contact Jim Doan - he was great to work with!

Beautiful unit, stunning views

This is a beautiful unit with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The double balcony is large, with stunning views. It was the perfect place to enjoy coffee and early morning sun and also a welcome shaded refuge in the afternoon to enjoy a cocktail. The bed was comfortable and having two bathrooms was very convenient. Jim was very quick to respond to our email questions. This was a much better option than the Maui resorts that we have stayed at before. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone coming to Maui.

Outstanding

We have been to Maui many times. This unit is by far the best, most beautiful, fully equipped condo that we have stayed in. Beautiful view, of the ocean with the sound putting us to sleep each night, fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bedroom , the whole unit wonderfully furnish.all at a very reasonable price. We really enjoyed this stay and will undoubtedly want to stay here again.
