Location location location! To say that this condo has one of the best views and locations in the entire development is an understatement. The finish work is unparalleled.
The ocean is the big show. The 180 degree views are unparallelled. Whales swim by the deck all the time. We installed a complete water filtration system. No need to buy bottled water!
We spent a week in April during my 2 teenage daughter's Easter break. This place has a perfect location and the condo itself is as advertised and as pictured in the photos. Very functional and comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast on the patio dining table every morning and spent a lot of time at the pool and the beach. Very convenient to Cabo San Lucas and only a 20 minute ride to San Jose Del Cabo. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
The view is indescribable, the accommodations were clean with everything we needed. The complex was safe and close to shopping and restaurants. We did rent a car, which I would highly recommend to drive to the marina. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The only drawback would be for people needing handicap access or assistance with stairs. This did not affect my stay (I actually liked it) but if my mother tags along next time this could be an issue. I highly recommend it! Thanks for a great week, we will be back!
We loved the view and the room so much we never wanted to leave to see anything else. We spent the days relaxing on the porch playing cards, watching whales and enjoying the incredible views. The interior accommodations were 5 star. We can't wait to return. Many thanks to Ed for allowing us to rent such a beautiful place.
This condo is great! It has two bedrooms, a modern kitchen and bathroom that has been recently remodeled and is in excellent condition. There is a large deck that is right on the corner of the condo building, so you get wide, sweeping views of the ocean. The unit is also right on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean. You can leave your bedroom windows open and hear the waves all night long. Our 5 person family was comfortable in the condo.
The unit is in a quiet building, with no obvious neighbors. The overall Misiones complex is an excellent place to stay for a mature family - there is no party atmosphere and the place is quiet. There are two pools, one with a swim bar that serves drinks and food. There are beaches that are vendor-free on either side of the complex; one is directly connected to the complex, and the other one is about a 1/4 mile walk away.
You are about 2-3 miles from downtown Cabo from this unit. Taxis are available right outside the door. If you have rented a car, there is a parking lot available, and if you want to take the city bus, it is at the top of the hill about 1/2 mile away.
I highly recommend this unit - we had an excellent family vacation and are already looking forward to coming back.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely waterfront condo. We spent many hours just sitting on the patio and watching the water activity, as well as, the beautiful sunrises through the patio ‘arch’ and breathtaking sunsets by the Sunset Mona Lisa, just steps away. From the patio we spotted whales everyday, saw a seal one day and schools of dolphins many times. We brought binoculars so when we spotted a whale we could really zoom in and watch. One day we watched one whale breach about 12 times in a row. Listening to waves crashing against the rocks and onto the shore below was so relaxing every night. We really appreciated the umbrella, beach chairs and towels for the private beach area, where we spent several afternoons. The property description said there is a cooler available but we didn’t find one and ended up buying our own. We also enjoyed the pool and swim-up bar. Pepe and his son make a really good drink and the food is always delicious there, too, for a quick bite. It was nice to see a new little convenience store right next to the parking lot which was very handy. It was really nice to see how well the entire area has developed in the 4 years since we were there last. We rented a car for the first time in Mexico and it was a learning experience but by the time we left, we had the system down pretty well. We enjoyed a road trip to Todos Santos to see the Hotel California. We made our way to Flora Farms for Sunday brunch which was fabulous and quite a pleasant experience that I would highly recommend to anybody. Not sure what a taxi ride would cost there as it is a ways off the beaten path. GPS found it with no problem. We also shopped at the Mega store in San Jose a couple times and Walmart was close and handy, as well, although we almost got lost going back to the condo because we couldn’t figure out how to get off the service road. We eventually figured out that u-turns are the ‘norm’ in San Lucas. We got a really good meal at the Trailer Park Restaurant. If you’re looking for extreme casual and really good food, definitely worth a visit, plus it’s close to the Misiones. We ate twice at the Sunset Mona Lisa which is also a unique and lovely experience. It was a great place to call “home” for 10 days. I would just caution anybody with children that this condo sits above the ocean with about a 150' sharp drop to rocks below with no barrier from the patio. It is beautiful but could be dangerous.
This particular condo is absolutely beautiful. The views from the deck are completely worth the extra money. Easy walk down the stairs to the beach for some first class snorkeling, short walk up to the restaurants and pool with the swim up bar where we had margaritas and quesadillas for lunch. We ate twice at the Sunset de Monalisa which is only steps away...best view in Cabo! It was an easy drive into town to go shopping, and there are a lot of easy access paid parking lots along the pier to take a boat cruise or walk around to the bars. Loved this place, it had great decor and was super clean. I had my 74 year old mother with knee and hip problems, so it was a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the condo for her, but she loved the views and thought the effort was well worth it. She even made it down to the beach twice. Property manager responds to emails promptly with any issues. We will come back again soon.
