2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, 2 Miles North Of Forks On The Sol Duc River
Great cabin located 2 miles north of Forks on the world famous Sol Duc River. This very comfortable, all cedar cabin, has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bathroom with a shower/tub combination, Direct TV, wireless internet, is fully furnished and has a washer and dryer. We're close to the Olympic National Park's greatest attractions; the Hoh Rain Forest and it's ancient, moss covered trees, the numerous ocean beaches (2nd Beach is our favorite), Sol Duc Hot Springs, and the rugged Northwest Coast area along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Right here on the river, eagles soar overhead, otters play, and fish migrate home. It's the same river where Edward of 'Twilight' fame lives and hunts with his family.

Very nice cabin right on the river. Very clean and close to many activities. We went to the Ho Rainforest one day for some beautiful hiking and the ocean the next where we saw 5 bald eagles overhead! Awesome...
Clean, easy, and wonderful
Such a great house in an awesome location. Everything worked perfectly for us and we will definitely be back next year. Thanks again!
Beautiful property - very open feeling
House was great - great views - lots of wildlife around. Will be back for sure!!
Sol Duc Retreat
This little cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Steps away from the Sol Duc River and super close to Forks made it beautiful and convenient for runs to town.
We rented in November and had hoped we could fish. No such luck. It rained everyday. Cabin was adequately maintained with all you really need for a few days. The worst was probably the dog kennel next to bedrooms and dog barking early in morning. We left a day early. No water access near cabin but a beautiful view of river.
I would like to apologize again for the dog barking. The dog doesn't live here, but we were watching him for a few weeks and we had to leave early that morning and put him in the kennel. In the past, he's stayed inside and was quiet. He is now back in Idaho with his owners. If we watch him again, we will make other arrangements so this doesn't happen again. I know you were very disappointed the rivers were out and you were unable to fish. In a typical November, it rains almost 18 inches, mostly coming in waves of several inches or more in a period of a day or two. In October, the rivers were closed because the water was too low. There is access to the river here and there is a great fishing hole right in front of our property. However, the water was too high to get down the trail.
Very nice people. Awesome location for fishing. Thank you both very much.
Thank you! Hope to see you again! Randy & JoAnn
A great home base for visiting the major attractions of Olympic National Park or fishing the many fresh water rivers in the area. We're close to Hoh Rain Forest, ocean beaches, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, and Sol Duc Hot Springs. Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach and the Northwest Coast are also close by.
