Great All Cedar Cabin On The Sol Duc River - Close to the Park's Favorite Places

Bedrooms 2
Space 750 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, 2 Miles North Of Forks On The Sol Duc River

Great cabin located 2 miles north of Forks on the world famous Sol Duc River. This very

comfortable, all cedar cabin, has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bathroom with a shower/tub combination, Direct TV, wireless internet, is fully furnished and has a washer and dryer. We're close to the Olympic National Park's greatest attractions; the Hoh Rain Forest and it's ancient, moss covered trees, the numerous ocean beaches (2nd Beach is our favorite), Sol Duc Hot Springs, and the rugged Northwest Coast area along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Right here on the river, eagles soar overhead, otters play, and fish migrate home. It's the same river where Edward of 'Twilight' fame lives and hunts with his family.

Absolutely Amazing Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband is a dedicated hiker, so I wanted to take him to the Hoh Rainforest for his birthday. We had never used VRBO before, but there aren’t many hotels in Forks so we decided to try it; I’m SO thankful we did! This cabin is beautiful, and the owners take amazing care of it.

From outside it doesn’t look very big, but the inside is incredible. The décor was just what we were hoping for: log cabin look and feel. The interior architecture is beautiful, and the entire cabin is perfectly decorated and very, very clean. The cabin has a full-sized and fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, two bedrooms with dressers and closets, and a bathroom which includes a sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower. The owners also provide wi-fi and satellite dish for entertainment, which is definitely my style of camping!

In addition to this, you can walk right out the back door onto the deck (which has a full-sized grill), cross the lawn, and have a spectacular view of the Sol Duc River! The owners have provided a table with chairs for dining and a pair of outdoor “rocking chairs,” which look out over the river. The cabin is also extremely well stocked with necessities; we brought a lot of supplies and didn’t need any of it!

The cabin’s location is also in a prime position for anything you might be interested in doing during your visit. When driving, downtown Forks is less than 5 minutes away, La Push (1st, 2nd, and 3rd beaches) is approximately 20 minutes, and the Hoh Rainforest Visitor’s Center is about 1 hour; we couldn’t have been more pleased!

Our biggest disappointment was the cabin is already booked the week my parents are visiting in June, so we can’t stay here again. From the location to the architecture to the décor and friendly owners, you can’t find a better cabin in Forks, WA. This is truly our dream vacation home, and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Great cabin in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We were greeted when we arrived by Randy as we pulled up the the Cabin which had the most beautiful presentation of flowers and other greenery out front. The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed the beds were comfortable and plenty of places to put clothing and other items. Everything you needed was supplied in the kitchen with extra room to put groceries. The best part was being able to bring breakfast to the table and just sit and watch the river below it was wonderful to have my morning coffee out there and watch the fish! What a treat that was. The cabin is also in a great location to explore the Olympic peninsula we ventured to many places while we were here and got to see so much wildlife! Thanks for letting us stay here!!

Cozy and comfortable in amazing nature.

  • 4 of 5

Very nice location on with nice terrace, on the edge of the Sol Duc River, friendly and calm hosts. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped, the wooden walls make it so cozy and gemütlich. There is much space for your luggage. It was fun cooking in the kitchen.

The only thing that was adverse: the cabin is clairaudient. You hear every step of your fellow travelers. But the overall Impression is very good. Would recommend it to my friends. .

This is a great place to stay while exploring the western side of the Olympic peninsula. Especially convenient for the Hoh Rain Forest and beaches in La Push area; but, many other areas of Olympic National Park are easily reachable as a day trip. It was great to be able to come back to the cabin at the end of day, cook ourselves a meal, and enjoy the cabin. We enjoyed our morning tea along the river as fishing boats floated by before making pancakes with fresh blueberries for the teenagers.

Perfect central spot for exploring the Olympic Peninsula

  • 5 of 5

We chose this cabin because it was the perfect spot for us to explore the Olympic Peninsula from Hurricane Ridge, Cape Flattery, Hoh Rainforest, all of the incredible beaches and Lake Quinault. After a long day of driving and hiking, it was great to come home and sit around the new fire pit by the river. So peaceful and scenic. The cabin was clean and very comfortable.
