About Nick & Sheri Larson
My wife and I have both lived in the area for over thirty years and we still love it here in spite of all the rain. We have a large family with six adult children and eleven grandkids. There is never a dull moment around the Larson house.
Nick & Sheri Larson purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Nick & Sheri Larson chose Forks
We lived across the highway from this cabin over twenty years ago and rented a small cottage that is no longer standing. During the summer months we can walk downstream to the next river bar where we used to roast hotdogs and marshmallows with our kids over twenty years ago. One family of our old neighbors still live there.
What makes this Cabin unique
We can see the Sol Duc river flowing by without going outside. There is a beautiful view of the river from the living room window and the kitchen window as well.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was honestly better than I was expecting, the photos don't do it justice. The cabin was very clean, the hosts communicated well about checkin, the kitchen was stocked with basic dishes, though I did not cook. The sofa bed was more comfortable than the average sofa bed. The location can't be beat for a road trip through the Olympic Peninsula.
Thank you so much, we are glad you enjoyed our cabin. We hope you can come back and spend some more time in the area, there is lots to see! Thanks again.
sweet little cabin
we enjoyed our 1 night stay during our trip to visit Olympic National Park. About 45 minutes away from the Hoh. place was very clean and decorated very cool. no complaints. I'm a deep sleeper so the close proximity to the highway did not bother me. great to have a full kitchen. would def stay again if we come back.

A tastefully well-appointed cozy cabin just outside of Forks, WA, perfect for a couple or small family. Day trips throughout ONP were easily accessible.
As others have mentioned and we knew ahead of time, the cabin is located on 101 and road noise can impact sleep. Traffic was light during late night, but early morning my husband said the trucks were barreling down. Ear plugs were provided by the bed. :-)
Thanks for your hospitality and providing the many amenities that made the stay relaxing, warm and inviting!
Cozy cabin with a perfect location
We visited the Olympic Peninsula over the memorial day weekend and had the pleasure of staying at Nick and Sheri's cabin. The cabin is well equipped with basic necessities and more. The fireplace overlooking the Sol Duc river is a delight. Firewood and coal (for the grill) were meticulously stocked up. The cabin was immaculate, so were all the utensils and linens.
The only thing we missed was a dishwasher which can be made up for by using plasticware. Nick was extremely helpful through the booking process. We will definitely stay here if we happen to visit Forks again.
Thank you so much for staying, we always like it when our guests take the time to enjoy cooking at the cabin. We try to supply everything you would need for cooking. I never thought of a dishwasher. I would have to get a tiny one.😁 Thanks again!
Good location just outside of Forks on the banks of the Sol Duc River. We loved our time at this well-stocked cabin. Our teenage son loved that the river was accessible right outside the back door as well as the wi-fi acess (of course). Yes, it is located on the main highway so there is some traffic noise that may require use of the provided ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. Nevertheless, this cabin is a great choice for an Olympic National Park trip especially if you plan to spend the majority of your time outdoors exploring the park.
Thank you so much for being our guests. We’re so glad you enjoyed it.
Cute cabin near Forks
This was a great place to spend a family weekend close to nature. We used the kitchen to prepare meals and the king sized bed was very comfortable. This was home base for exploring Rialto Beach, Hoh Rain Forest and Olympic National Park. We loved the diversity of nature's treasures nearby.
The cabin is very close to the road, but there was not much traffic noise. The combined grocery/hardware store in Forks had everything we needed.
