My guests return often and tell friends. This is an older home, but well kept up.Very clean and private, with a mile of well marked trails for walking on the property. My staff and I work very hard to make sure we earn the comment " We wish we could have stayed longer, our kids don't want to leave. One guest said " Our favourite VRBO stay ever and we have rented many......Peace and quiet and nature all around you.

About Kamala Heath
We are English transplants who have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest. The grandchildren love to come and spend time here.We love sharing the cabin with people who really appreciate the beautiful setting. We have spent years upgrading the property. Not easy with over 110 inches of rain a year! We are thrilled that our guests are returning and recommending the place to their friends. Thank you to all of you and we love your nice comments in the guest book.
Kamala Heath purchased this Cabin in 1984
Why Kamala Heath chose Forks
We come here to rest and rejuvenate and leave the city behind. Our family has owned and loved this property for over 30 years. Actually, the property has owned us! Especially the moles! Many of our English relatives have come to visit and are always amazed at the scenery.Last year's favourite memory was of my English buddies from high school sitting around the blazing campfire, late at night, drinks in hand, laughing until we cried. We wish to share this peaceful sanctuary with you.Make sure you take the time to walk the trails and pack a picnic for the beach.
What makes this Cabin unique
Tranquility, relaxation, and seclusion. We have enjoyed watching the wildlife in the large yard. The trails are magical. Also the beach-combing,fishing and hunting is pretty good too!

Hoh Valley Hideaway is a delightful home! Clean and comfortable and surrounded by trees and trails!
We had a wonderful holiday staying at the Hoh Valley Hideaway. We were provided with all the information we needed prior to our stay, which made it so much easier to prepare for our trip. It was so warm and inviting when we arrived on Christmas day. We explored the trails on the property, enjoyed the outdoor firepit, and went on some day excursions. There is so much to experience in the area and we look forward to returning this summer!
We had a super time enjoying the peace and quiet, the beautiful trails, and the overall coziness of this jewel.
Very happy it was a fun place to enjoy your anniversary Next time l will alert the elk to come and eat my ornamental cabbages so you can see them up close. Kamala
Our stay over Thanksgiving was very fun. There was room for the 5 of us and a dog. Everything we needed was available. Well almost. We had problems with the temperature in the shower. It never got warm. We called the maintenance person and they came out and checked it. This was not something they could fix immediately so they turned on the outdoor shower. What is invigorating in July is barely tolerable in November.
We enjoyed the trails on the property and hiked them even in the rain. We tried the trail to the beach at the end of the road, but because of the rain we weren't able to cross the creek safely. We went to Forks and Ruby Beach. This cabin is a good central location for activities on the Washington coast.
Gorgeous, private, and peaceful. I loved every second I was there.
Older home with charm. Very homey with everything you need for a fun stay. Excellent trails that a very well marked. Honestly it’s the home of my dreams and I never wanted to leave.
Thank you for appreciating our cabin in the woods. I am so thankful for nature lovers like yourself who appreciate all our hard work. Keeping salmon berries , blackberries and moles at Bay is a full time job Please come back soon. Kamala
One of the most private and relaxing places we have stayed on the peninsula. Great central location to all the hiking, beaches and activities. Highly recommend.
Thanks for staying and come back soon. Yes when I put the sign up that says “ This is my happy place” I really meant it!
A beautiful retreat near Olympic NP
What an amazing property! So charming, with so many thoughtful touches outdoors - the gazebo, the outdoor shower, the trails. We didn't stay long and so couldn't fully enjoy all of them, but I highly recommend this location. Heard the sounds of nature all day and into the night, a completely peaceful and relaxing experience.
Thanks for staying. I love meeting my guests as they make all the outdoor work worthwhile. I agree that this property is magical.
I am 15 miles South of Forks and very close to the road to the Rain Forest National Park. Centrally located for most of the local sights and beaches.
