"Beachside" just off Gulf of Mexico | Stunning decks | Well-equipped kitchen!

Bedrooms 3
Property type house
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8

This Gulfside bungalow has it all! Just one house back from the Gulf, it is so close you can take ten giant steps and dip your toes in the Gulf of Mexico. The large master bedroom, with a king bed and flat screen TV, has an incredible view of the Gulf-front deck. The master bath has a double sink vanity, large garden tub/ shower combination. The bedrooms on the opposite side of the house share a large bathroom. One has a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a spectacular view of the Gulf and the other bedroom has a king size bed and flat screen TV.

This wonderfully equipped kitchen is open to the great room and not only has an unbelievable view of the Gulf, but also has a beautiful view of the Sound from the kitchen window. There are plenty of cabinets and a large bar for food prep plus seating for 4. A huge pantry and a laundry room just off the kitchen. This home also has a gas grill, perfect for summer afternoon barbecues! The main table has seating for 8, perfect for family meals. The great room has French doors leading to the Gulf porch with a commanding view of the beach and water. There is plenty of seating, including two sofas and recliners. One of the sofas is a queen sleeper. A 55” flat screen TV is centrally located in the great room so that it is easily viewed from the kitchen and dining area and there is plenty to choose from on the movie channels offered.

Out on the porch, you’ll find the perfect place to get a tan, read a book, and watch the perfect sunset. And sometimes you’ll even be lucky enough to spot the dolphins…

If you can't leave your furbabies at home, Beachside is a Dog Friendly Property. A non-refundable of charge of $100 per dog is required for each one that comes to Beachside. All pets must be reported at the time your reservation is made. We will require the total number of dogs, their breed, and weight. All dogs must be on a flea, tick and heartworm prevention program and have all current vaccinations. The Town of Dauphin Island leash law requires dogs to be on leash and properly secured when outdoors and also requires that dog waste from rental property yard, beaches and public areas be picked up and properly disposed of.

There is a new house being built next to Beachside to the southeast. The new house recently started construction. We anticipate the house being dried in by April 8, 2017 and completed by June 1, 2017. Beachside is a great house in the same great location although no longer the last house before the beach.

Reviewer Comments:

We stayed on Dauphin Island for two months. It was as advertised, nice view, nice home, until the last two weeks. Then the bulldozers and construction workers came to build a new home in front and back of" Beachside" the place where we were staying. A very active construction site is not compatible with a relaxing stay on the beach. Since neither the homeowner nor the property management organization was at fault we just put up with it until we left.

Best family vacation ever!

  • 5 of 5

This week in August was the best vacation we have ever had. The kids brought friends and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us! The house was right on the beach and was a perfect spot to relax and listen to the ocean. It also had 2 of the bedrooms with doors right to the deck. The deck was very breezy and you could be in the shade all day if you wanted to because they had blinds on each side of the deck that you could raise or lower through out the day. The house was in great shape and very clean. The washer and dryer could handle large loads so I wasn't doing laundry all day. There were plenty deck loungers and chairs that you could take down to the ocean. The beach was clean and great for walking. Everyone was so nice and it was fun to walk the beach at night and see kids looking for crabs with flashlights. A great, relaxing week of family time and food! Also, they let us bring our Goldendoodle dog, which just completed the whole week! Thank you for this! Winnie loved everything too!

Samuel and Dalrene Jones Visit

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the beach setting and sitting on the deck looking at the Gulf of Mexico day and night. The tropical breeze(what we called it) felt soothing throughout the day. The property was in good condition and the settings and appliances was user friendly. The floor plan was a dream come true and distance to food and activities was only a short distance away.

We are looking to come back to visit again for more than a week.

Ms. Victoria and her staff was very pleasant and friendly, and yes we will be calling them soon.
