I am an educator who loves people and taking care of their needs. We downsized our living space and enjoy sharing our home with other families. I love the hospitality industry. Check out our reviews and you will note that we take good care of those who have stayed in our home.
Ingrid Jones purchased this house in 2006
This property is my dream home because of its proximity to the water. My husband and I had searched for a home for about 1 year when I stumbled upon this neighborhood. The water attracted me, because there is something so soothing and calming about relaxing around water. After careful consideration we decided to purchase and make this the home where we would reside with our family. Now, all our children are adults and are living in their own homes. So we have made some updates, which includes downsizing our living space. We turned our garage (450 sq. ft) into an efficiency apartment which my husband and I now occupy. This enable us to share the rest of our 3700 sq. ft. home with others looking for a living space like ours. Whereas we live on site, families who have stayed with us do not need to worry because we give them their complete privacy. I am an educator, so when families come with children, no need to tell the kids to be quiet, because we love to hear the sounds of children and families enjoying the home. This is such a great space for families to enjoy!
The location of this home is close to important interests of visitors/guests to the city. It is 5 minutes away from public access to Chicamauga Lake, where there are locations for fishing, swimming and other recreational activities. It is 7-8 minutes away from the Volkswagen Plant, and the Hamilton Place Mall off I-75. Access to this area gives guests tons of places to shop and dine (Olive Garden, P.F. Changs, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Chili's, J. Alexandars, etc.). It is 15 minutes to downtown Chattanooga and its TN River shoreline.
We enjoyed our stay, celebrating our parents' 60th wedding anniversary! Thank you for the yummy breakfast cookies and your helpfulness with everything! The house had plenty of room for us...more than I imagined from the pictures! The house was as pictured and a great location. Thank you, Ingrid, for checking in to make sure we were taken care of. I would recommend this property!
This was a great place to stay while attending a family reunion nearby. Lots of space for smaller groups to gather. Especially appreciated the board games and toys to occupy the children. And cannot forget the gracious hostess and warm cinnamon rolls. Don't miss the Aquarium while you're in the area.
We had a wonderful experience at the Jones house. The house was easy to find and close to all the points of attraction that we wanted to visit. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The house has amazing backyard decks and we enjoyed the fire pit. We did some cooking, and although there were lots of pots/pans and utensils, there were not any cooking staples that we could find. So, if you are planning on cooking, be sure to bring spices, cooking oil, coffee etc.... I would recommend the home to anyone. It is spacious, clean and was an amazing getaway for our family.

I would have rated more if the rest rooms have proper locks. And we have been informed the toilet tissue will cloak the drainage.
Otherwise a nice place to stay spacious, fully equipped with necessary furniture, den at 3 levels, big living room, kitchen and dinning rooms.
