Our condo is footsteps from the white sands and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, located on prestigious Sand Key. There is no immediate public access, therefore, this is one of the most private beaches on the west coast of Florida. After a hard day of relaxing at the beach take a dip in the heated oversized pool. This 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom oasis on the beach is fully furnished and has all the amenities needed for you and your family. Every window in this condo has a water view. Flat-screen TV's in each bedroom with Wi Fi throughout condo. The family room also has a flat screen Hi Definition TV with a VCR/DVD player. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, and the second bedroom is equipped with a double bed as well as a custom made bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare your own meals. We also have award winning restaurants within walking distance. Once the day is done you can relax with a cold drink and watch the sun slowly sink into the ocean from your own private balcony!! The second balcony faces the intracoastal water way. Truly a one of a kind vacation getaway.
Our family has been coming to Sand Key for many years. We live within an hour drive of our condo and try to enjoy it often. Our children love all the activities this beach has to offer. It has always been a dream of ours to own a place on Sand Key beach.

Harbour Light Towers is a gated community located directly on Sand Key beach. Our condo is walking distance to shops, award winning restaurants, ice cream parlor, nail salon, and grocery store.
The views from this condo are unbelievable!
The beach views from the front kitchen window (inter-coastal) to the large living room picture window (ocean view) are spectacular. The beach was great for shelling and playing in the water/sand. For swimming one can walk just a short distance down the beach where there are lifeguards present. The owner provided beach chairs, towels as well as deck furniture. The back deck was being redone and will be so nice to sit on and relax with a cup of morning coffee off the master bedroom. Wonderful Master and an additional bedroom for the kids with a full and a set of bunks. Two full bathrooms and a fully appointed kitchen.
The owners were very nice to work with and even let us know that the decks would be worked on the week we were staying in order to give us an opportunity to cancel or reschedule our trip. The complex pool is saltwater and also a nice reprise from a hot day. Everyone we met was nice including the security guard who has been there for 17 years and has a great history to share.
The area boasts of several options for your Tampa area stay including touring the Clearwater Rescue Marina and Aquarium (with a boat tour that takes you to a tiny island almost directly across from the complex easily seen from the front deck), Bush Gardens, a Zoo and lots of other interesting day trips for which you can buy a city pass if you want to do more than one. Tarpon Springs to the North of Clearwater is very interesting because of it's sponge history and Greek settlement, boat tours and restaurants. Wish we had had more time to spend in the area, there is just so much to do. We ate at Conch Repulic and fed alligators and Congo Mini Golf in Clearwater and at Hella's in Tarpon Springs as well as Red Plum Pizza in the Palm Harbor area. A small pizza there is really a med in most restaurants. But it was great that we had the option of cooking in and eating it at our condo when we wanted to.
The cost of the stay was very reasonable, especially compared to being on the beach and accommodating four of us which we would have had to have two hotel rooms.
We have visited Sand Key many times and previously stayed in both the Sheraton & Marriott, this was our first stay in a condo. This condo is on the 6th floor of a block of twenty floors. It was myself and my husband staying here and we traveled from the UK. The owner was great both before and during our stay and always relied super fast to any questions we had. The air con broke during our trip and an engineer came and fixed it immediately.
Our inbound flight landed a little later than expected and on arrival at the condo building we were met by the owners parents who live in the block. They showed us around the condo, explained what we needed to know, and left us to it. The owner had got in touch with us a few weeks before our stay to let us know that the building management were planning to do work on the balconies during the summer and she did not know if this would be during our stay. We decided we would still stay here. Sadly, on arrival, the private balcony had been blocked off, and remained so throughout the duration of our stay. I have still given this review 5 stars, however, as it was out of the owners control. The builders worked monday to friday from about 8am to about 4pm, so no lay ins during the week! It was noisy, but we were not there to sit in the condo all day! The condo also has a terrace type balcony at the front which, while not private, is great for sitting out on.
The view from the condo straight over the beach is perfect. The condo was clean and tidy, the bed incredibly comfortable, there was everything we needed and (apart from the building work) it was very quiet. We didn't hear a thing from the surrounding condos. There is a laundry room on the same floor which was easy to use and very handy - just make sure you have some quarters!
The condo is on Sand Key, just a few buildings along from the Sheraton. There are a few restaurants and shops, including a grocery mart, across the road. We had a hire car and it was easy to get about into Clearwater and the surrounding areas. One piece of advice - avoid Clearwater beach if you can at the weekend - drive the other way! It gets very hectic and the traffic can be a nightmare.
The condo has a swimming pool, and when we were there not many people seemed to use it. It was busier at the weekends, when owners came I guess, but during the week we were often the only ones there.
We loved it so much we have already booked to go back again next year. So much better than a hotel
This was the perfect condo for my husband, our five-month-old and me. Perfect size, perfect views, and perfect location. We loved how quiet Sand Key is, and how close it was to everything. We spent a lot of time on the western balcony taking in the Gulf views and the phenomenal sunsets; and on the eastern balcony watching the dolphins in the Intracoastal (and the occasional sunrise when we were up on time). Our hostess was very accommodating and prompt to reply to my queries. The pool was clean and quiet, and we loved how quiet our beach was... Although this could be due to the fact that it does not have the soft sand like Clearwater Beach. But day trips to Caladesi Island, Clearwater Beach and Fort de Soto remedied that! We loved that we were right across the street from some great shops and restaurants, and right down the street from a county park. The only reason I am not giving a five star review: there was a lot of noisy construction happening on the condo building. Balconies were being redone and the neighbours directly below were renovating a bathroom. This was, of course, entirely out of our hostess' control, and she was honest and empathetic about the whole situation. We definitely plan on coming back!
The condo had wonderful views of the waterway and beach. We loved being able to just drop down on the elevator and walk out to the sand. It was great as the beach is not as crowded as the public access in Clearwater and we could hunt for shells easily. We could sit on the balcony and enjoy wonderful sunsets and sunrises. We didn't want to leave when our time was up. The trip and location has convinced our family where we want to move and enjoy our life in the future. We will be back for visits until our eventual move! The owner was wonderful and made sure our stay was perfect. Checking in to see if there is anything we need to make our vacation even better. Great communication and couldn't ask for a better time.
We loved our time here. First let me speak on the location. It was on the beach with a beautiful view. This private resort was nice and quiet and laid back. Now let me speak to the best part of all, the resort condo. It was very nice. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had all our questions asked before we arrived and was even very helpful in helping us identify restaurants, grocery stores, and even car rental options before we left. Who does that? What a blessing. :)
Upon arrival she had her hosts (her parents) greet us and make sure we were okay. There was a really long and nice note left by the owner detailing household factoids, from where towels and amenities were to how to use their household appliances. What a nice touch! It made my family truly feel at home. In fact, we even had their fishing poles at our disposal and the men in our group loved this. All the kitchen items were nice and clean and available for use and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and welcoming. We loved the space and are considering a future rental. I highly recommend the space, but more importantly the owners and their hospitality made it worth it in every way.
Other things we loved: the beach is steps away, the pool was quiet and nice, and the location was off the tourist path, but less than 5 minutes away if you so desire the hustle and bustle of all. There is also a nice trolley/bus to get you there if you prefer not to drive. Located on Gulf Blvd and it was a gem.
