This listing is for occupancy of the entire ground floor living area including all three bedrooms. Fine Art House is located on 10 acres nestled in the hills of south central Pennsylvania and is owned and operated by a retired professional photographer. Surrounded by woods and horse pastures, peace and quiet is abundant. Every room is an art gallery filled with fine art canvas. With 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and a newly added game room, there's enough room for the entire family! In the summer you can sit out on the wood deck and watch the squirrels play, listen to the birds chirp or watch the horses graze while enjoying the sun and sipping on your favorite beverage. If you just want to hang out, enjoy the game room which features a 7 foot slate pool table, shuffleboard, foosball and darts. There are also many board games and decks of cards for you to enjoy! Centrally located, Fine Art House is convenient to a multitude of activities. Just 10 minutes south is York, the first capital of the United States. York is the home of Harley Davidson, the York Revolution baseball team, and the countries oldest county fair which is held in September. York is well known for it's downtown farmer's market and it hosts the Street Rods National East event in June. For all of you wine connoisseurs there are several local wineries! Fifteen minutes north is Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania. Harrisburg is the home of the Harrisburg Senators baseball team, the Civil War Museum, fine dining, exciting nightlife and art shows. Five miles north of Harrisburg is the Rockville Bridge which the world's longest stone arch railroad bridge. The Hollywood Casino and Penn National Racetrack is 45 minutes away. Gettysburg and it's battlefields are just 45 minutes away. Also just 45 minutes away is Lancaster County, home of the Amish and the Strasburg Railroad Museum. Baltimore with it's famous Inner Harbor is an hour away and Philadelphia is just 2 hours away. Hershey, the famous chocolate town, home of Hershey Chocolate, Hershey Amusement Park and Chocolate World is only 30 minutes away. Ski Roundtop, just 20 minutes away, caters not only to skiers in the winter but to a host of summer activities such as zip lines, paintball, bumper boats and more. Several 18 hole public golf courses are within a 15 minute drive. Gifford Pinchot State Park, just fifteen minutes away, offers boating, swimming, hiking and bird watching opportunities. Boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing opportunities abound on the mighty Susquehanna River and a boat launch is just 20 minutes away. For bird watchers, the famous Conowingo Dam, home of one of the best places in the east to photograph Bald Eagles, is a mere hour away. Photographers from all over the country flock to Conowingo Dam in late November and early December for the Eagles as well as October through March for many other bird species. I also cater to horse people. If you have horses, I have several stalls available if you want to bring them along for an extra fee. There are 30 miles of trails out the back door for you to use, and trailer parking is available. For those traveling with pets, they are considered on a case-by-case basis. .
