Had a wonderful stay at the Fine Art House. Very spacious and well stocked with linens, kitchenware including food, and interesting photographs. Rural setting (horses in back) yet convenient to restaurants, shops, etc. Michael was very accommodating and just a text away if needed. We appreciated bringing our dogs!
Had a great experience with this charming house in the country. All the comforts of home- very clean - well maintained - no problems whatsoever!
Mike, the homeowner, is a great guy -- very attentive ! Would highly recommend this property to anyone.
The country feeling was lovely. There were certain things needed. Face clothes. Dishclothes. Instructions on the remotes for the tv.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay. It was calming and peaceful.
We spent 2 nights at Michael's home and chose it because it's dog friendly and has a wonderful big yard for the dogs to run and play. The house was warm and inviting and the views of the horses out back just made it perfect! I highly recommend staying at this property if you're wanting to stay in the York area.
Amazing!! Will definitely be back for a longer stay.
This house has all you need to have an enjoyable stay. It's private and has 3 bedrooms, so it's good for 2 couples or a family with children. The owner is very quick with replies and has all the information you'd need to enjoy the area in a folder and lots of brochures too. House is filled with his beautiful photographs done in unusual ways. You have Cable TV and a DVD player and he takes pets. We liked the opportunity to clean up before we left to save a cleaning fee. The rate is terrific for all the space you have to visit the area. Lancaster is about 20 to 25 minutes away. Restaurants are nearby and owner gives suggestions or there are a couple of diners close by. My husband couldn't stop saying "What a deal for this house!" We definitely would return here again to see more of York, as we needed a place to stay at for a memorial service nearby that we were attending. Thanks again to Michael for a lovely stay!
