Worse Condo I Ever Rented

  • 1 of 5

Wish I has read Sam J.'s review before renting. Everything he said is true and worse. The building itself is uninviting, not lobby, never saw any building staff, pool was tiny, elevators stunk.....nothing special about this place at all. Coffee cups are chipped, nothing stocked-had to go and buy dish soap, paper towel, coffee filters, etc. Over half of the light bulbs were either missing or out and the ones that were working were so dusty you could barely see in the bathrooms. Jets in the master bath tub were full of black slime/mold. Washer and dryer is located in one of the guest bedrooms which was very inconvenient to the people staying in that room. Washer was the smallest I've ever seen and you would have to run the dryer 4 or 5 times to get it to dry. Furniture in living room was old looking and worn. Pots and pan were so stained (probably because there wasn't any scouring pads or soap). All in all the kitchen was very poorly stocked. Ironing board leg was broken off, there was no broom or mop in the unit so there was no way to clean up or sweep up sand. The unit was overall dusty - so bad you could write in the dust. The balcony was in need of a good scrubbing as the floor was riddled with stains and what appeared to be mold growing from floor to ceiling in all the corners. The bed covers all need replacing as well as the pillows. There were no blankets for the fold out bed. There is only basic cable in the unit and no wi-if. I called to report some of the issues and a lady brought over some light bulbs but they were the wrong size and would not work. On our last day I was called and asked how I would rate my stay and Jennifer seemed shocked that I gave it such a low rating but didn't seem too interested and anxious to get off the phone. With all the issues with this unit I think if they wanted to keep their customers happy and returning they would have at least offered to refund some of their money but nothing was ever offered. The only way I would ever stay at this place again is if they gave it to me at no cost.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately teh guest did not report any of the issues until two days before their departure. The only request we received from the guest was some light bulbs be brought over. Light bulbs were brought and the guest declined our request to install them. They never called back to report that they were the bulbs were the wrong size. We have since corrected all issues identified in the review.

Terrible Condo!

  • 1 of 5

Our family has stayed on PCB for many years, this unit is undoubtedly the worst on the beach. My son-in-law killed a roach in their bedroom corner the night before we left. The kitchen was barely stocked with dinnerware (6 plates, dessert plates & saucers), 5 drinking glasses and the cookware was so terrible I didn't even use it. Burners on the stove were so crusted with burned char they smoked when you turned the burners on 2 of them. The entire condo needed dusting and could use a good wet mopping. The plug-ins in many outlets did not work, there were lamps, but no light bulbs in them (other than 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom). Shower in master bath had jets that appeared to have black mold caked in them. Comforters all needed to be replaced and the living room furniture was so worn and dirty I was ashamed for my family to set on them. We have been used to very nice accommodations - NOT HERE! Had to call the service we rented through to have the cold water fixed on one of the master bath sinks. The washer was the smallest I have ever seen; one load of towels was all it would accommodate. I brought home dirty clothes - never have I had to do this before. Parking was worse than horrible!! We were wedged in between two concrete walls that a large SUV or pick-up truck would not fit. Our kids had to park 2 lots across the street and pay $4 per day to park which we were not told about. One fella was trying to wiggle into his parking spot and scratched the side of his vehicle from front to back. We talked to many visitors that had some of the same complaints, especially about parking. It seems this owner either doesn't care about his unit or never comes to it. Also, the balcony needs a good scrubbing, very stained. Only thing good I can say about this unit is the towels were nice and the ice makes works! Refrigerator was very old and in the corner, hard to get into. Smallest kitchen ever and no pantry - lots of cabinets - 90% of them were empty not stocked!! Terrible - rent elsewhere.
