Charming house-villa in rented(praised) for holidays peaceful in a village " ROQUEFORT OF THE CORBIERES " situated in 7 km of the sea Spain is at 1 am. Perpignan in 30 mn, ideal for the sporting amateurs with wind: kitesurf, Windsurfing, sand yacht, montain board, (we can guide you for the practice of these sports). The African reserve is in visited as well as was in hiding vinéa ( subterranean cellar), the Cathar chateaux. The peche, the tennis etc.

Great Holiday

Nice house in a calm village, lots of nearby places to visit. Only one problem, the swimming pool is too deep for a pool of this size and the tiles surrounding it are quite slippery when wet. We would recommend this house to anybody.

Great holiday at the villa, village and surrounding areas

We are happy to say that we were very satisfied with the accommodation which is spacious inside, has a good and private patio with all the home comforts that you like to have on holiday. This was our first holiday that wasn't at one of the coastal seaside resorts, which we have enjoyed over the past 20 years in the resorts close to Perpignan. We found this to be very relaxing and enjoyed some of the local facilities which included the Tavern for food and drinks and as Boules (Pétanque) players we entered the twice per week competitions and felt very welcome to the locals and a few others who were on holiday, both English and French. We also enjoyed the great walks up into the hillside behind the villa with our dog, which afforded a great deal of exercise. Our host Azita welcomed us on arrival and visited just before we left and was close by should we have needed her, but as said the accommodation was fine and we had no issues to complain about or want help with. Roquefort des Corbieres is a quiet village and away from the holiday resorts but in very easy reach of Sigean and Port la Nouvelle, an easy drive to Leucate and Port Leucate and we were able to take in Perpignan, Argeles sur Mere and Collioure for days out at no more than an hours drive. If and when we come to booking our next holiday, which will be in the same area as we love it so much, we would be hard pressed not to book again at the villa as we felt so relaxed there for the 2 weeks of our stay.
