About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 15

If you're looking for a secluded deluxe mountain cabin to accommodate your large group, this lovely home is for you. You can also bring your favorite canine family member (for a small nightly fee), and to top it off, you'll only be a mile from the slopes!

This home boasts a huge wrap-around deck and has unique structural lines. Inside, the vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows give this home an expansive feel. Couple that with the wood plank walls and beautiful wood floors, and you have a spacious living space that exudes warmth and welcomes family fun and togetherness.

The massive windows in the comfortable living room on the main floor allow you to stay close to nature while being inside where it's warm thanks to the attractive, flat-rock fireplace. The dining area is an extension of the main living area, and comfortably seats eight guests at a striking black wood table.

The kitchen is just off the dining area and features stylish black cabinets and grey countertops. It has standard appliances, as well as a slow cooker, a mixer, and a waffle iron. There's also a breakfast bar that seats three, as well as a high chair for your tiniest traveler.

An open, rot iron spiral staircase takes you downstairs to the den where you can watch movies or play games, which are provided. In addition to board games for kids and adults alike, this home also has a Pack-N-Play. Also provided in this home is wood for the wood stove, and there's a wet bar and pool table for adult-focused fun.

This three-bedroom (plus loft), three-bathroom home sleeps 10 adults comfortably, 15 guests maximum. On the main floor, there are two private bedrooms with one queen bed in each, and another bedroom with a queen bed and two twins. Up in the loft, you'll find another queen bed, two more twins, and a sleeper sofa. And there are two additional sleeper sofas in the den. The three full baths give you all plenty of space to tend to morning and evening rituals with ease.

You'll also find four TVs in this rental. Two have cable, and the other two have DVD players or VCRs. This home offers Internet access and an on-site washer and dryer for your added convenience. In the winter months, you'll enjoy the two-car garage that's available for your use.

There is an abundance of things to do in Brian Head, regardless of the season.

In the summer, explore the area and take a hike on your own, or sign up for one led by a local ranger. Fishermen, bird watchers, and mountain bikers will be in heaven here. If that's not enough, rafting is available, and there's a zipline, too! In the winter, go tubing, snowboarding, or skiing. You can also take scenic SkyLift rides on the weekends. And the good news: all activities are within a one- to five-mile radius of your home away from home.

Take the break you deserve, and book this beautiful ski lodge vacation home for your next family vacation now!

About Vacasa of Brian Head

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Old and dated

 • 2 of 5

This property is in a great location and was clean. That is about where the positives attributes end.

INSIDE: The pictures make the cabin appear MUCH larger than it really is. The property was incredibly dated, the beds hard as a rock (probably original and have never been updated). The toilet paper was about as cheap as you can get... you could see through it it was so shear. No extra linens for the sofa sleepers. Also, NO trash bags in the entire property! We had to go to town and buy our own, $10 for just a few!

OUTSIDE: The deck was in ill- repair. It overlooks the woods, and wraps around, but there were only 3 chairs, and not tables or anything to be able to sit and enjoy it. The grill is small, so don't plan on preparing meals for a large group if you plan on using it, or you'll need to cook in shifts. Also, barely enough parking for 4 cars- it's tight!

Our biggest disappointment was with the management company. First, there is no local number provided, so you have to call the office in Oregon. On the first night, when we couldn't find linens for the sofa sleeper, we called, and waited on hold 45 minutes, and they never answered! The second night we tried again, and finally received an answer after 30 minutes. The representative said "sorry I don't see any notes about extra linens," and indicated that there was nothing she could do to help. About the trash bags she said, "well, I'll have to make sure the cleaners put some in next time."

There are so many options for accommodations in Brian Head, that I would suggest looking elsewhere, for something similarly priced, but much better quality.

 • 3 of 5

Our condo was great for our 6 grand kids (ages 4-11), 2 daughters & 2 son-in laws . It had 6 beds in the loft that worked out super grand kids. The scenery and wild life wete awesome. It was great for our family to have everyone under one roof. All of us are from the Holland, Michigan area.
