 A tres minutos de Saint Paul de Vence. Piscina privada, solo para inquilinos, los propietarios están a su disposición sin ser intrusivos, las entradas son independientes. ubicado en una zona residencial, la calma, la belleza del sitio, cerca de todas las instalaciones lo convierten en un lugar de vacaciones privilegiado. Cálida bienvenida. hermoso jardín de mil a cuadrar vallado relajarse en la piscina, más cerca de alarma completamente segura para los niños, bolos, tenis de mesa. Vence, ciudad histórica.
-cultural tranquila entre el mar y las colinas salidas, iluminado por un sol generoso y omnipresente, ciudad de artistas, por lo que la luz que baña Antibes de edad, de Saint Paul.
San Pablo, con sus galerías, Antibes con sus murallas de la Edad Media, Cannes y su festival, Grasse y sus perfumes. La gran roca de Mónaco, su principado y su sitio, parque prados alpinos azules para excursionistas, salida antes de la casa.
Italia es de 30 min. El parque de Mercantour gran ruta alpina 1 hora en coche o autobús, las puertas del Mercantour están a menos de 70 km de la salida de la autopista A8, principal puerta de entrada a la red de autopistas italianas. Considerada la más bella ruta turística europea, el camino a los Alpes es especialmente adecuado para motocicletas o bicicletas. Finalmente a pie, las puertas de Mercantour están surcadas por el GR5 y la nueva ruta europea a través de la salida de la casa.

Family vacation

We had a great stay in Vence. The house was greate and we used uber to get around with no problem. There is a cozy bakery 12 min walk distanse. There a free buses that takes you to vence city. The owners are very nice and helpful.

charming home of kind couple

Kind owners and well maintained property with amenities. Within a very short drive of st paul de vence and vence (even a walk - just a couple of fairly busy roads). Loved both of these beautiful towns and the home was a great base to explore these and into Nice, etc. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful place

We loved the house, garden and pool. It was a tranquil and relaxing holiday enjoying all the facilities. It is very well equipped. The owners are are on site for help and to answer any queries. They are incredibly welcoming.

Beautifully equipped and well appointed house

We had a really lovely holiday here. It was a great base to go off exploring some of the coast. We made it to Monte Carlo and Italy and the kids loved being able to come back and cool off in the pool. The owners were a delight and truly hospitable, even going so far as to cook us the most amazing Quiche Lorraine and a Pissaladière on our last evening. Such a lovely thing to do and our kids say it was the best quiche they’d ever had!! We wanted for nothing whilst there. The kitchen had every applicance and it felt like a home from home. Thank you, Nino and Nunzia.

Entspannter Urlaub trotz Corona

Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und hat einen wunderschönen Garten mit großem Pool. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Sie überraschten uns mit kleinen Geschenken und Aufmerksamkeiten (Wein, Käse, Eier, Kaffee und Anti-Mückenspray - letzteres sollte man nicht vergessen, einzupacken). Wir hatten wirklich alles, was wir brauchten, um einen entspannten Urlaub - trotz Corona - verbringen zu können. (Die Hygieneauflagen für Gites verlangten anscheinend, dass die Klobrillen abmontiert werden mussten. Man gewöhnt sich aber überraschend schnell daran.) Die Vermieter haben zwar im unteren Bereich private Räume, waren aber nur zu Beginn und kurz vor der Abfahrt da sowie einmal mit Ankündigung zwischendurch, um nach dem Pool und dem Garten zu sehen. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal herzlich für die schöne Zeit!

Wonderful house with terrific gardens!

Our holiday started with a wonderful welcome from the owners and their daughter who gave us a tour of the house and gardens and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The house has all the facilities you need and was very clean and tidy. The garden was beautiful and was lovely and peaceful to sit in and relax. The pool was ok but cold, our children loved it regardless but my husband and I aren't as brave, so one minor point would be if the pool had been heated we would have been able to use it too . The walk to Vence around 15 mins is ok a bit steep going up but as we burned off calories it meant we could enjoy the fantastic restaurants without too much guilt! Walking back down hill much easier and stunning views. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful villa

We had a most delightful stay here. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The villa itself is large and comfortable and very well equipped. The garden is beautifully maintained and private. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

Somewhat scruffy could do with a lick of paint on balcony’s. the garden needs some care and attenti.

I booked the gite with HomeAway for myself and my husband and our friends, my friends arranged with the owners to arrive an hour or so before us as they we’re already in nice whereas we were flying over from London. When our friends arrived they were asked to sign a form which was written in French although. my friend could speak Italian his French is not at all fluent & he is certainly not able to read French. He explained that he was not the person who did the booking but was told that they were unable to release the keys without a signature. He was asked if we would prefer to clean the gite ourselves before leaving or would we rather pay A large sum of money of which I am unable to put on the review as Homeaway would not allow it to have it cleaned by an outside company? He told them that we would clean ourselves. On the day before departure the owner turned up and left a bucket, mop hoover, and numerous cleaning equipment which we used to clean the property thoroughly the night before plus making absolutely sure it was clean when we left in the morning. Whilst we were cleaning the owners arrived with another form which had to be signed which they gave to my friend upon inspection they had put his signature on the top of the which was printed and my name as an afterthought which was written underneath. They informed us that we had used far more electricity than we should have apparently we are allowed 200 kw but used 500 kw so were charged again a large amount of money which again I am not allowed to put on here. They then told us that by law they should be paying a cleaner to disinfect the house so we should really be paying for a cleaning company to do it, my friend argued that we were well into the cleaning but reminded them that we were asked if we wanted to do it ourselves which we had chosen to do. All in all we were disappointed with the-extra charge of electricity we did not see that on the terms and conditions. Please read terms and conditions especially to do with the cleaning as being hit at the end of your holiday is a shock.

Delightful holiday

Very generous hosts made this an exceptional holiday. The house was spacious and beautifully furnished and had everything you could need. And books, a piano and vases of flowers. It had a charming garden, which had various corners with tables and chairs among the flowers and trees. It is in a very quiet and private setting, a 15-20 minute walk from the the walls of medieval Vence, On our last evening our hosts treated us to a delicious home-cooked meal! We highly recommend this holiday home.

Outstanding location, spectacular hosts, dream property for a family vacation

Everything about the family vacation that we spent in this property was perfect! This is a quiet 3 bedroom two-story house with breath-taking views surrounded by a beautiful garden and perfectly located just a short walk from the old town of Vence in the hills above Nice - a spectacular location. Additionally, the house provides everything needed for a fun vacation including a fabulous pool, ping pong, boules, outdoor grill, full kitchen, laundry etc etc. We were 6 adults, we felt we had plenty of space both to 'hang-out' together and to have some private time, and the location allowed us access to a range of activities including hikes, beach, medieval villages, old &modern cities, restaurants, shopping and airport all within less than an hour's drive, and in some cases just within a short walk. Most importantly, the hosts just couldn't be nicer! They responded within a few hours to every email, were flexible with both arrival and departure times, welcomed us with home-made jams and olives, a bowl of fresh fruit, cookies, juices, coffees teas and more. And then, to top it all, they invited us for a spectacular home-made parting meal! This is by far the best VRBO property we have stayed at. Highly recommended! Hope to return.

Charming, traditional property

A little bit difficult to find! Having got there we found a charming traditional house with ample accommodation for our 5 adults. The house was equipped with everything you would ever need and provided us with a wonderful experience. The owners were very friendly and not just a little entertaining! I would have no hesitation in recommending this location to anyone.

Fantastic large family-friendly villa in great location with pool

Nunzia and Nino's detached villa is large, beautiful and spotlessly clean. Set in private, tranquil and immaculately maintained gardens that are not overlooked (with family of 5 tortoises in residence too), we had an amazing time. The large, cool pool was a blessing after a day out and about in the heat. All mod cons provided, including coffee machine (essential), BBQ and aircon downstairs. Very well equipped kitchen - we had everything we needed. The centre of Vence is a 15 minute walk away but the bus stops 30 metres from the front door for those of a less energetic persuasion. Villa Dolce's ice cream was so good it was the destination for our daily pilgrimage into town. We ate at a number of restaurants but La Pigionierre was by far the most impressive both in terms of cuisine and service. Nunzia and Nino treated us to a banquet of local delicacies in the garden on our last night. Great food, conversation (as long as your French is up to scratch) and company. We would love to return, next time remembering to take our mozzy repellent. A schoolboy error on our part!

Impeccable

Une situation idéale, la maison à tous les conforts voulus et les propriétaires sont super sympa et généreux. Nous y avons passé un séjour de rêves!

Perfect

We really enjoyed our stay. We do not have a bad word to say. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back again. We would highly recommend. There is plenty of room inside and out. The pool area is extreamly clean. The local town was lovely plenty of places to eat and shop.

Excellent séjour dans ce beau gîte

Gîte de grande qualité. Très spacieux, clair et propre. Les propriétaires sont très gentil et toujours disponibles. Nous avons trouvé tout le linge de maison à notre disposition. Des condiments avec une excellente huile d'olive était même à notre disposition pour débuter notre séjour. Une machine à laver avec de la lessive était aussi à notre disposition. Il y a une très grande piscine, les serviettes de bain était aussi à notre disposition. Enfin tout le confort pour passer un agréable séjour au soleil de la méditérannée.

Such a lovely home

Such a delightful week in this lovely comfortable home. The house is very well equipped & there are so many places to sit and relax or eat. Nunzia and Nino kindly offered to get us some food as we were arriving late on a Saturday night, and we found a fridge full of delicious fruit, youghurt, breads, wine and water, plus a huge bowl of cherries from their garden. The pool is wonderful on a hot day, though the alarm can be a little over-sensitive, but the real bonus point is the wonderful garden; so many wonderful flowers lending a gentle scent to the air, lots of places (and furniture) to lie down and snooze in the sun, ping-pong, the daily visits from the three cats, and the family of tortoises underneath the terrace. the road leading to Vence is steep and windy, so you really need a car; there may have been a boulangerie nearby at one point but that is no longer the case. There is a LeClerc supermarket nearby, however, and we would recommend the Les Lavandes restaurant in Vence for delicious French/Thai food. The creperie in by the market square is great value, and there are many local caves, butchers, grocers and boulangeries there with great produce. We ate in La Colombe d'Or in St Paul de Vence (ignore the cost and treat yourself!!) and visited the wonderful Foundation Maeght there too. If you don't want to drive, take the 400 bus from Vence to Nice for the princely sum of 1.50euro (!!) and avoid negotiating the windy roads and parking; bus trip takes about 1 hour 10 - 30 minutes depending on the traffic, and it also goes via St Paul de Vence, which is a lovely place to visit. Nino and Nunzia treated us to champagne and chocolate cake before we left and we were more than welcome to help ourselves to the many herbs and fruit in abundance in the garden. I hope to return!
