Wonderful place for large groups!

  • 5 of 5

We had 24 people for a 3 generation family reunion ranging in age from 5 years old to grandparents.

The pros-

-The house was really clean. We are pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness and everything was spotless including the refrigerator.

-The house was well stocked. From dishes to roasting sticks for s'mores, the kitchen was well supplied. There was plenty of toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper towel, shampoo, soap, dishwashing liquid....

-There was a MOOSE!!! that made an appearance every morning and evening right in the yard! It was absolutely amazing!

-Great communication with the owner. All details provided.

-Great hiking nearby cabin - we enjoyed hiking at Box Canyon and Upper Coffee Pot campground.

The cons -

-The towels smelled musty (we're pretty pick about this - they improved a bit after we re-washed them but started to smell musty pretty quickly.)

- The basement bedrooms also smelled musty.

- 2 of the 4 bathrooms are in bedrooms. This means that either those 2 bathrooms are just for the people in those rooms (leaving the other 2 bathrooms for the remaining 4 bedrooms) or you have people walking through those bedrooms to use the bathroom. This is in the description, but we just didn't think carefully about it until we got there.

- The wifi was S..L..O..W... Granted we were a big group and almost everyone had a device to use, but even when I got up at 6 am to try to use the internet for work before the rest of the group was awake, it was painfully slow. We had no cell reception at the house. A few others in our group had decent cell reception.

- The house was a bit further from Yellowstone than we thought. You obviously don't get the address until you have finalized payment, but it was a good 45 -50 mins to the park. This is in the description, but I don't think we exactly realized how long that would take especially when it takes several hours to do one loop of Yellowstone.

- The yard is long wild grass. It's really beautiful, but in the photos we had anticipated having a yard for the kids to play in when in reality the grass is about 3 feet long so you can't exactly play soccer or football etc.

Overall it was a great place and we highly recommend!

Perfect Large Cabin for Classmate Reunion

  • 5 of 5

Our classmate reunion was a big success. We had a group of 19 people during our stay. We enjoyed the spacious and clean kitchen, big dinning table, family room and bedrooms. The surrounding area is beautiful, tranquil, and covered with blooming wildflowers. We enjoyed the time at this place, took lots of pictures and recorded many sweet memories. One noteworthy thing to mention is that owner, Melanie, tried her best to provide service to us. She responded to our questions quickly. After the trip, I realized that I left a personal item in the cabin and called Katie, property manager, for help. In the following week, I received this item in a priority mail. Thank you! I would highly recommend this place to friends and family members and would like to stay in this beautiful cabin again.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a family reunion with babies, children, teens & adults. The setting is peaceful and lovely, the cabin was well stocked and clean. All appliances worked nicely. The manager was easy to work with. Nice large downstairs for kids, comfortable living area, enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, resident moose & deer, beautiful kitchen. Boys loved the loft. Had a great afternoon swimming at Lakeside Lodge. Definitely recommend this cabin for a great get-away!

A beautiful cabin

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We wished that there were more trails to ride on directly from the cabin. The trails that were close by led to dead ends. Hence we trailered the ATV's to other areas. The cabin was full of everything that we needed. The smell of the hot tub filled the basement bedrooms and was a little stuffy. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin is located in a beautiful setting and surrounded by other beautiful cabins. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful spacious cabin on wooded lot.

  • 5 of 5

Our family gathering at Arrowwood lodge was all we had imagined it would be! Relaxing, peaceful and perfect. The home was clean and well equipped. The outside was well maintained and yet natural! We just might have to make this a regular event!
