Comfortable, great location, quiet and well-stocked
If you don't mind the stairs up/down, this place has all the features you need for a week at the beach. Location is perfect and unit is comfortable and well-appointed (washer/dryer, WiFi,, nice TV, 3 bedrooms and newly renovated bathroom). Owners were accommodating and accessible for questions and help, as needed. I would recommend this property.
We had a great stay! This is our 2nd year staying here and we will definitely be back!
Tracey and Tim are wonderful hosts, House was clean and perfect for our family!
Small, Back House upper unit
I’ve been renting in this area for the last 45 years. First with my parents and now with my family. I am very familiar with beach properties. Myself, wife and two 7 year olds were looking for something beach block. We saw this ad and it read perfect. We arrived, the spot is the upper floor of the back house. It is very small. It is at the bottom of the beach block, but there is no entrance to the beach, you have to walk over another block to get on the beach. The wall A/C units are noisy and insufficient for the TV room and back bedroom. The white walls have black scuff marks and nails sticking out in the Bedroom with the biggest bed. The bathroom door sticks, and the lock is finicky. My 7 year old couldn’t get out and was almost in tears. I’m sure I am being very picky but I expect what I pay for. Recommended only if you are ok with small accommodations and other items I mentioned.
Other than that, the beach is clean and there are many things to do in the immediate area (Restraunts, ice cream parlor, shopping, mini golf).
I have to say that 24 Bond upper was a perfect fit for a full on beach week! Everything was clean and taken care of! The beds were very comfortable! I would book this place again and recommend it to family that live in the area for a great weekend get away even in the winter! Perfect walking distance to the ocean, bay and restaurants (Ohana, Crabs Claw,Jersey Mike’s and a short bike ride to the bakery for some awesome donughts!) along with daily shopping!
Thank you Tracey for the stay!
Great week at Lavallette
Been a long time since we visited Lavallette. Place was great location, walkable to store, coffee, and food. Inside was very well updated and clean. Close to beach. Outdoor shower was best outside shower compared to the ones I used in the 70's and 80's. Great time.
Cute home, great location!
We stayed a week at this property and loved it! The space is tight but very well utilized. Having 3 small kids (ages 7, 4 and 7 months), I overpacked a bit, but it worked and the kids loved the coziness. Tracey and Tim were so considerate of every detail, especially the outdoor space and the nice beach umbrella and chairs— we used them every day and didn’t need our baby beach tent! The outdoor shower was also a lifesaver for us. But what really stood out about this property was its location! Being so close to the beach as well as ice cream parlors and restaurants was fantastic. We only had to drive to pick up groceries, which I really appreciated coming from the suburbs. Vacation for me is about walking everywhere! One minor drawback of the house is that the wall of the kids’ room (with the bunk beds) doesn’t reach to the ceiling to allow for airflow. We didn’t mind at night since we wanted to sit outside once the kids were in bed, but it was tricky in the morning when we had to give the baby early bottles without waking up the older kids. Luckily the weather was amazing so we just went outside, but something to consider if you have little ones. Overall, a fantastic stay, and Tracey was a gracious host and very responsive. Highly recommend!
